RE: ADMISSION TO MOI UNIVERSITY FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
Following your application and placement to Moi University by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service
(KUCCPS), I am pleased to offer you a place in the School of Education to pursue Bachelor of Education (Science) Degree programme
as a 1st year student. Your degree programme takes 4 Academic Years and will be based at the MAIN CAMPUS.
You are required to report to the University on 13 August 2025 .
This offer is subject to the following conditions:-
1. Acceptance of the offer(Online)
2. Submission of online self registration at admissions.mu.ac.ke
3. Production of Original Certificates (KCSE Results slip/Certificate OR KCSE results on KUCCPS portal ) and Identity
Card/Birth Certificate for verification;
4. Acceptance to pay the required fees for the programme of study; and
5. Commitment to adhere to Rules and Regulations Governing the Conduct and Discipline of students of Moi University
(Download the Rules and Regulations from admissons.mu.ac.ke).
As a Government placed student you are eligible to apply for a Government Scholarship, loan and bursary
to support your University Education depending on your level of need. To benefit from Government funding you
MUST make an application through the official scholarship and loan application portal (www.hef.co.ke) immediately.
After assessment of your Government Funding application, the University will inform you of the household fee component
that you will pay.
To enable you access online classes and important e-learning material you will be required to have a computer/laptop/tablet/ iPad or
smart phone.
Please note that admission to the University does not automatically guarantee you a place in the Halls of Residence. Students who need
accommodation are required to book and pay online through the Moi University student portal (portal.mu.ac.ke). If you fail to get a place
in the Halls of Residence, you will be required to make private arrangements.
Also note that you can only access your student portal if you have completed the online self registration at admissions.mu.ac.ke
