Electronic Voting Machines: (EVM)


EVM are being used in Indian General and state elections.
Electronic voting is partly implemented from 1999 elections and
in total since 2004 elections.

 The EVMs were used for the first time in the general
elections (entire state) to the Assembly of Goa in 1999.
