1. Pre-Immersion
a. Essay on how to conduct oneself inside the company/ business establishment period
This February we will be in the preparation of the Immersion at the Boog’s Grill and
Restaurant, I will feel excited and nervous, just because I don’t have enough experience and
knowledge about Food and Beverage Services and it will be a challenge to me to adapt the
environment and situation there. A few days later, our teacher split us up with a first batch and
second batch to represent the Villa Cacho Integrated School, through our characters and
behavior. Our teacher said that we would have our Immersion at Boog’s and Grill Restaurant at
Sta. Visitacion, Tumauini, Isabela. In a couple of weeks, I was wondering if that restaurant was
good and most of all weather the staff and boss was kind. I’m really looking forward to this one,
because I also want to experience how hard it is work, I tell to myself if ever come to terms with
it, I should always be confident in communicating with others, should behave. And most of all I
have to offer patience whatever our future manager would be kind, whatever we could get along
well with the staff, and because that’s what it should be.

2. Immersion Proper

HISTORY OF BOOG’S AT GRILL RESTAURANT
Boog’s Grill and Restaurant started since August 8, 2013 located Sta. Visitacion,
Tumauini, Isabela. In a couple of months, Boog’s Grill and Restaurant began to grow bigger,
wider and become popular by the help of the customers who is trying to taste those specialties
that only Boog’s Grill and Restaurant made and offers. Mrs. Trinidad ‘Nini” De Leon is the
owner and founder of Boog’s and Grill Restaurant and she is also one who named the restaurant
as “Boog’s Grill and Restaurant.” This name was invented by the name of her son Alister De
Leon A.K.A. ‘Boogie” which is Mr. and Mrs. De Leon decided to choose the name of their very
own son to start business and begin their luck using that name, this restaurant was popular in
their best seller “gambas” and their and their special recipes “Boog’s special fried rice” and
Boog’s whole chicken.” In Sta. Visitacion, Tumauini, this restaurant creates their own journey in
catering inside and out of the restaurant and continuously become progressive. Boog’s Grill and
Restaurant has another branch in Tuguegarao City which is tailoring and pasta factoring.

1. What I Learned Today
I learned a lot today like how to communicate with other people, get along with the
owners, managers, staff, ojt and to my batchmates. I also learned how to handle a situation inside
and outside of the Boog’s Grill and Restaurant such as being calm when talking to a customer
who doesn’t understand very well and show that I’m still strong even though I’m getting weak in
the situations that are happening and in our boarding I should be a good board mates. I also
learned to be independent, be hardworking, focus on works, be frugal, a good team leader and
immersionist.
2. What is/are my memorable experience/s with the people around me today?
The memorable experiences I have now with the people around me are our bonding
together with my batchmates, staff, manager, and other immersionist of others school. On our
first day we entered together with the same FBS uniform and we prayed before going to work.
We are happy while cleaning at Boog’s Grill and Restaurant and Mario’s Pavilion Hotel with
sister Lea Magno who is a staff member, Reygan Domingo who is from Ragan Sur who is also
an immersionist and my batchmates because they are kind to me and I help the manager and staff
in the portioning of the policemen’s food to be delivered to Cauayan. And also, the situation that
my batchmates are getting sick and as a team leader I have to take care of them, encourage them
that we can overcome all the challenges we face and show that we always have to be strong.
