GUIDELINES FOR 1st /3rd /5th /7th /9th SEMESTERS SUMMER EXAMINATION
FOR 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION
a. Summer examination is optional for only graduating/spill over students.
b. Students with DOS and DC are not eligible for the summer examination.
c. Only students with carry over and CIA are qualified.
d. Students that were either withdrawn on academic
grounds/performance or voluntary withdrawn are not qualified.
e. The summer examination shall be marked over 100% and must score
the minimum prescribed pass mark.
1. Registration procedure
a. A student must pay for spill over registration fees.
b. A student must register for the 1st/3rd/5th/7th/9th semesters summer
examination at the cost of N,5000.00 only as the central registration fee
and N2000.00 only per course as the course registration fee at the school
respectively.
c. A student must collect clearance form from the Department before
proceeding to Microfinance bank for payments.
d. After payment the student should submit Bank teller for central and spill
over registration to the bursary and collect original receipt.
e. The student should proceed to the unit school accountant to submit bank
teller for course registration and collect original receipt.
f. Student should present all payment documents to the Departmental
Examination Officer.
2. Time frame:
a. Registration exercise shall commence from Monday 19th Aug., to
Saturday 31st Aug., 2024.
b. Proposed date for the commencement of the 1st/3rd/5th/7th/9th
semesters summer examination is from Monday 2nd Sept., to Saturday 7th
Sept., 2024.
c. Departments should organise revision for the students at their own
convenience within the time frame.
d. Conference markings/Result compilation of the Examination is from
Monday 9th Sept., to Saturday 14th Sept., 2024.
e. Departmental Board and School Academic Board meetings should start
from Monday 16th Sept., to Friday 27th Sept. 2024
f. Polytechnic Academic Board Business Committee Meetings should start
from Wednesday 2nd Oct., to Wednesday 9th Oct., 2024.
