Focus: Basic personal information, identifying objects, simple descriptions, "to be" verb, "I like," "I have," "I can."
Present simple for basic facts.

Vocabulary Focus: Nouns (family members, common animals, classroom objects, food), verbs (is, like, have, see,

(always, sometimes, never), daily routine words (morning, afternoon, night), more adjectives (funny, smart, kind,
quiet, loud).
