Having environmental awareness is the
responsibility of every citizen. Today environmental
degradation is a matter of great concern. In the name
of development, we have consumed our natural
resources ruthlessly and polluted our atmosphere.
Scarcity of water, increasing levels of wastes, air
pollution, and global warming are some common
issue of which pose a great threat to the
environment.
BODY OF THE SPEECH

Provides explanations, examples or any details

that help you deliver your purpose
Explain the main idea of your speech
Should only have one central idea

Present real- life or practical examples

Show statistics
Present comparisons
Share ideas from the experts
Today the environmental issues have been become the
greatest concern for the whole world. With the industrial revolution
the global warming has become the issue of concern. It has become
more influential in the developing countries like India. And the
reason behind it is the only agenda of development. The demands for
natural resources will increase day by day as the population
increases the demand for consuming natural resources also
increases. As it is growing at 2.11 percent every year, which,
ultimately puts pressure on the natural resources of a nation. As the
population increases the demand for resources also increases. It is
expected that the country’s population will increase to about 1.26
billion by the year 2016 which will put the pressure on our natural
resources and the problems like water shortages, soil exhaustion
and erosion, deforestation, air and water pollution will become
common.
CONCLUSION

Restates the main idea of the speech

Provides a summary, emphasizes the
message, and calls for action
Aims to leave the audience with a
memorable statement
Thus, it is our duty and responsibility to lower the loss.
Every individual can play a significant role in this solution. For example,
we should take a pledge to say ‘No’ to plastics. Instead of it, we may
make use of Eco-friendly substitutes like paper and cloth bags.
In the end, I want to say that we must spread environmental
awareness in our society as well as in our daily routine life It is
necessary to save and protect our environment. In my view, it is the
responsibility of everyone to do our bit for the environment. Therefore,
let us work together towards a greener and more sustainable future.
