q Register for the Simulation
1. Go to www.capsim.com, click the “Get Started” button on the right-hand side
2. Click the “Register Now” button under Student Registration
3. Read the welcome message and agree to the terms of usage
4. Click the “Continue with initial registration for this course” button to move on to the next
page
5. Enter the Simulation ID number you have been assigned and click the “Enter Industry ID”
button
a. Your Industry ID is:CP120003_1
6. Enter all the required fields
7. Select the “Pay Online” button to make the payment or select the “Enter a Prepurchased
Registration Number(s)” button if you were provided a registration code.
q Getting up the Learning Curve
Do not be concerned about being an expert right away; there is a lot of information to
take in. This is just to start your training. You will get more proficient as you progress
through the simulation.
1. Log into your Capsim account from the main homepage www.capsim.com
2. Click on the simulation logo
3. On the left menu, click on the “Training” left menu option
4. Go through the following exercises:
a. Beginner Training – Participants will be introduced to 2 videos followed by a quiz – 20
minutes
b. Intermediate Training – The intermediate training will take the participant through
situational decision making that highlights each department – 1 hour
c. Advanced Training– A walkthrough of the simulation report that prioritizes the
analyzation of results and strategic trends – 45 minutes
