Thellasea is another feudal kingdom, however power is given to guild leaders instead of Lords, which
makes it a touch more democratic. Slavery is considered one of the most evil crimes in this nation. Laws
are fair and generally just, but there are concerns around corruption in the system that implements them.
There is a relative difference between the richest and poorest, as the guilds tend to offer more of a safety
net than the poorhouses of Lords or temples do. People of this nation live modestly, on average. Their
leader is a firbolg king. His family were imposed as monarchs 634 years ago, as the people admired their
inability to lie and sense of fairness. Although he wields all the power in the kingdom, he lives quite
frugally, unless advised not to do so by his closer guild leaders. The borders are fairly open, however
paperwork is required in order to be allowed to live and work in the country.
Thellasea is a very artistic country, and is mostly lived in by dwarves, elves and humans. They are a kind
people, on the whole, and protective of their land and each other. After warring with Alquand and helping
establish Argondel, Thellasea grew in size by quite the amount, specifically to create a safety net between
Argondellians and their perpetrators. This has, however, created a national divide between those who
lived in Alquand and now live in Thellasea, and the Thells.
Firbolg king, has a large and well-loved half-sea-elven family. The king was originally
against the idea of every arranged marriage that was proposed to him, and met his wife
at a gathering of guild leaders, where she was a very very minor noble. The
compromise between love and keeping advisors appeased went well, though
imperfectly. (the queen is a full sea elven woman called Analistane)

Other guilds exist but are considered to have less sway in Thellasea, although they are
still powerful organisations. Some guilds have their headquarters in Kattikia, however
others prefer to be in port cities or other locations.
