July-19-2025 (Saturday) Anju Sachdev Class

Laghu Parashari and Shat Panchashika (LP & SP)

There are two subjects covered here – LP and SP. Next week we will start
with Laghu Parashari. You don’t have to remember the shlokas, but the more
familiar you are with it the better.
Laghu Parashari by Sitaram Jha or Charak.

July – 26’ 2025

Astrology, Destiny, and Wheel of Time are also of Laghu and Madhya Parashari.
Laghu prashari, there is another patashari named as MADHYA PRASHARI. Than
Laghu Parashari is given a name UDHYAN PRADEEP.
Udu is nakshatra and pradeep is light. It means throwing light
on the nakshatras.

The postulates explained here are for Vimshottari Dasha only and not Ashtottari
Dasha. It is specified.
Whatever the rules you will study here will be for Vimshottari Dasha and not
Ashtottari Dasha.
Asstottari Dasha: It is a conditional dasha that is applied when Rahu is in a
kendra or trikona, not in the Lagna.
Vimshottari: It is the king of all other dashas as it can be applied to all kinds of
horoscope without any conditions.

Every planet aspects the house right in front of it. Saturn, Mars and Jupiter have
additional aspects.
10th house is house of proficient, karma we do otherwise, housewives have no
significance of the ten house in their life. Saturn is in charge, so our intentions
for doing work also matter.
5th is house of Children, mantras, and 9H is Guru/ spirituality, and Jupiter, which
are those aspects. Mars’ 4th aspect since it is karaka for construction, houses,
property, land etc. 8th is mangalya sthan and longevity and Mars influences that
also.
There is a Fraction Of Aspect also depending on which aspect it is and if the
fraction is taken.
Wherever 5H and 9H are saints, so wherever they are involved, it will improve
the horoscope.
Why 3,6,11 will give bad results? 11H is house of desires, 3,6,11 is part of Kaam
Trikon. 11H is 6th from 6th, and hence can show health issues. 3H is about hard
work. 11H is of desires. When we take birth, we aim to reach 12H of moksha.
11H is the house of final obstruction. It is distracting you from your actual aim.
6H shows the ability to withdraw from the outside world and sit in one place.
Very important in the way of spirituality.

This relates to Kendradhipati Dosha. Example, in an Aries lagna horoscope,

Mars is the lagna lord. Even if Moon is in own house, Moon is forgetting to be a
benefic because of placement in Kendra. 7th Lord is Venus. Venus is a marak.

Laghu Parashari talks only about Lordships. In the KENDRADHIPATI DOSHA,

the lord of the Kendra is forgetting its behavior.
Unconditional benefics – Jupiter and Venus.
Conditional benefics – Mercury and Moon.
Malefics are Mars, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu, Sun, and Moon. For dual signs, it pinches
twice, since unconditional benefics has to deal with unconditional benefics to be
different.
