Walmart Stores, Inc. has a long-standing goal to offer our customers the best quality at the lowest price.
Walmart is always looking for better ways of merchandising apparel and expediting the merchandise through the
transportation and receiving area. The Walmart Floor Ready Apparel program is one way of improving this process.

Objectives for the Walmart Garment Hanger Program are:

• Improved overall quality, design and specifications at the lowest cost
• Our global supplier base will aid in global availability and shorter lead times
• Continuity of presentation and quality by using agreed upon Walmart/VICS standards
• Global Sourcing Ethical Standards team will conduct the initial and follow-up factory certification
requirements
• Random CTL testing will be done by pulling hangers from stores
• Global Procurement audits of hanger supplier factories to ensure ethical work standards and
Global Supply Chain Visibility (GSCV) audit to be in compliance with CTPAT regulations
• Correct sizer clips on each hanger speeds the straightening and upkeep of the apparel racks

Walmart Stores/Sam’s Club expects each supplier to comply with all hanger guidelines so that all merchandise
displayed in our stores/clubs will maintain a uniform appearance. The hanger guide identifies the correct hanger
and style number for each general category of merchandise. Please refer to the hanger guide when ordering
hangers from the following Walmart designated hanger suppliers listed below:

* Note: The authorized garment hanger suppliers listed above are the only APPROVED hanger resources that
Walmart/Sam’s Club will accept. Garment factories cannot order any Walmart/Sam’s Club hangers from any other
hanger supplier as this will be a direct violation of Walmart/Sam’s Club garment hanger program.

Apparel Supplier Responsibilities:

• Each garment factory location must be disclosed within Retail Link and maintain an approved Ethical
Sourcing rating of Green or Yellow.
• Ship all apparel merchandise to Walmart/Sam’s Club facilities with hangers on all garments and
ready to set on the sales floor.
• Merchandise must be sized correctly, hung on the appropriate hanger and have the correct sizer clip.
• Review, understand and distribute the hanger guide to the appropriate people within your company.

Garments being shipped following these guidelines will ensure consistency and help our store associates move
the merchandise quickly onto the sales floor. We greatly appreciate your cooperation with this program and will
assist you in any way possible to achieve our goals. The success of the program is dependent on your complete
compliance and full support.
