ABOUT ME
I am an Electrical QC Inspector with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and Certified Quality
Assurance Professional (CQAP), additionally possess certification on ISO 9001:2015, QMS
Lead Auditor. I have extensive experience in supervision, execution and quality assurance
and control (QA/QC) for power plant projects. My expertise includes overseeing the
successful execution, inspection and testing of electrical and instrumentation systems,
ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards and project specifications.
Additionally, I am familiar with local industry codes and standards like, Saudi Aramco, SEC,
SASO, SBC and International like; NFPA-70E, IEEE, IEC, NEC, ISO, ANSI, ASTM, BS and
NEMA. Aware of the safety procedures being adopted & applied in construction industry.

Core Responsibilities:
• Ensure field supervisors/workers work safely on site and know their role and
responsibilities in safety when executing field activities.
• Execution of all Electrical, instrumentation and control system works are carried out as
per approved Drawings, Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans and relevant

standards and procedures.
• Prepare and review Method of Statements (MoS), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and
Inspection Checklists (ICLs) as per Project Specifications.
• To ensure all materials delivered to site are inspected through Material Inspection
Requests (MIRs) and conform with Material approval requests (MARs) to the specified
requirements.
• Supervising Electrical, instrumentation & control works for Low voltage (LV), Medium
voltage (MV) wiring, fire alarm, HVAC, Lighting networks, all power, control,
instrumentation, and communications network cables.
• Ensure cables installation with appropriate segregation and separation for different
applications and three basic categories, MV power; LV power; and
control/instrumentation. Segregation of these categories shall always be maintained, and
control/instrumentation cables shall not be installed on the same tray or ladder as power
cabling.
• Initiating internal Observations and NCRs in case found non-conformity for effective
implementation of project quality plan, ITP’s, written procedures, method of statements,
project specifications and, IFC drawings etc. Ensure identification of root cause for the
raised Non-conformances/deviations and to implement corrective actions and
Preventive actions. Close liaison with subcontractors & other construction disciplines,
on daily/weekly basis participation in progress and quality meetings and raising/solving
the issues if any.
• Perform visual inspection and dimensional checks on all electrical & Instrumentations
related works such as cable trenches, cable trays installations, cable pulling, wiring,
conduit, junction box installations, duct banks, local control board panels and equipment
installation.
• Ensure materials handling, storage & preservation procedure are implemented as per
manufacturer recommendations/data sheets, relevant codes and standards.
• Execution, supervision and Inspection for Lighting System Installation and Illumination
Testing.
• Execution, supervision and Inspection of Grounding System Installation and Grounding
Resistance Testing.
• Execution, supervision and Inspection for lightning protection system installation and
testing.

Core Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review of ITP, s and QCP, s as per project specifications. And inspection
as per International Standards.
• Preparation of E&I Forms/ Checklists send it to Client for comments, receive back the
same, do correction and get final client approval.
• Filed instrumentation, installation, calibration, loop checking, commissioning,
troubleshooting and coordination with vendor for functional checks and modification of
skid instrument as per client requirements. Pre-testing of process and pneumatic hook-
ups, continuity and mergering test of primary and secondary cables.
• Installation and function checks of the fire and gas/ deluge systems with different types
of gas detectors, point combustible gas detectors, open path combustible gas detector,
H2S gas detectors and values.
• Responsible for the identification, investigation and issuance of Non-Conformance
Report (NCR) to construction group to determine the root causes of non-conforming
items & guide construction group the initiative Corrective Actions to prevent repetition
of non-conformities.
• Prepare Site Change Query (SCQ) if the issued for construction drawing have not been
followed due to some discrepancies and required for clarification and make red lining
or as-built for approval.
• Prepared as-built drawings and review the wiring, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram
(P&ID), Instrument Loop Diagram (ILD) and shop drawing prior to termination, loop
checking, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Check and ensure that all field installations shall comply with the latest version of the
issued for construction (IFC) drawings, Project specification and vendor instruction
manuals & procedures.
• Close and handle all issues and queries which have been identified or raised by the client
in the Corrective Action Report (CAR).
• Coordinate with E& I Vendors and follow up for pre commissioning and commissioning
procedures and assist to vendors until start up.
