                                     MARKET DAY REFLECTION
                                       By: Rheanna Narvaez 9-F
Market Day was a really rewarding experience that taught me a lot. As the event got closer, I felt a mix of
excitement and nervousness. I was unsure about how well our product would do with customers and how
smoothly our team would run the booth. There was a lot to think about, from setting up an eye-catching
display to preparing what we would say to potential buyers. We spent a lot of time preparing, making sure
everything was ready and practicing how we would approach customers. When the event came, the energy
was high, and even though we faced a few unexpected challenges, like adjusting to customer needs and
managing the booth, our team stayed focused and worked together. Winning first place at the end of the
day was the best part, and it felt great to see our hard work pay off. The experience showed me how
important teamwork and staying flexible can be, and it gave me more confidence in handling challenges in
                                                   the future.
As a student, Market Day provided a valuable opportunity to learn outside the classroom. One of the
biggest lessons was how essential teamwork and communication are when managing a project. Setting up
our booth was especially challenging. We were under a lot of pressure to get everything organized before
the event officially started, and some unexpected issues slowed us down. Meanwhile, other groups had
already begun drawing in customers, which increased the pressure on us to catch up quickly. Time
management was key. We learned to adapt and delegate tasks efficiently to ensure everything ran
smoothly. Although it was stressful at times, we remained focused, and it ultimately helped us improve our
                                  problem-solving and organizational skills.
As a customer, exploring other stalls allowed me to observe the event from a buyer’s perspective. It was
interesting to see how each group approached attracting customers. Some used creative booth designs,
while others relied on their energy and enthusiasm to engage with the crowd.\What stood out most were
the booths where sellers were welcoming and approachable. These groups made it easy for customers to
ask questions and feel comfortable. One area that could be improved for future Market Days is product
variety. Many stalls were selling similar items, making it harder for individual groups to stand out. Overall,
the energy throughout the event was lively and enjoyable, and it was inspiring to see everyone’s hard work
                                               come together.
In my role as a marketer, my primary responsibility was to promote our product and encourage customers
to visit our booth. We did not use printed materials or flyers, so we relied on personal interaction to engage
with people. This required clear communication, confidence, and active listening to understand what
customers wanted. At times, the competition was intense, especially since some booths were selling similar
products and even drawing some of our potential customers. This meant we had to put extra effort into
making our booth stand out. Maintaining a positive attitude and consistently interacting with customers
helped us build connections and keep their attention. Through this role, I learned that marketing is not only
about convincing people to buy something but also about creating a meaningful connection with them. The
experience improved my communication skills and taught me how to adapt to different situations quickly.
   CONGRATULATIONS TO
   US TROPANG DEKADA!
Market Day was a fantastic learning experience that combined creativity, teamwork, and real-world
problem-solving. It gave me a deeper understanding of what it takes to manage a business, from
brainstorming ideas to handling logistics and sales. One of the most important lessons I learned was how
crucial it is to be flexible and adaptable when things don’t go as planned. From setting up our booth to
making quick decisions during the event, we had to stay calm and think on our feet to make things work.
Throughout the day, we faced some challenges that really tested how well we could work together as a
team. There were times when we had to adjust our product or presentation on the fly, which made us think
creatively and find quick solutions. These moments helped strengthen our teamwork and problem-solving
skills. Everyone had a part to play, and being able to rely on each other made a big difference in how
                                          smoothly everything went.
Winning first place was definitely a great highlight of the event and a reflection of all the hard work we
put in. That said, looking back, I know there are areas where we could improve. If I were to take part in
something similar again, I’d focus more on planning out every detail and finding ways to make our
product stand out even more. Overall, Market Day was an amazing experience that taught me a lot about
business, teamwork, and staying adaptable, and it's something I’ll always remember
I can’t express enough how much I appreciate my classmates for their ability to make each other laugh,
even when the stress seemed overwhelming. No matter how tight the deadlines or how many things went
wrong, they always found a way to crack a joke or lighten the mood. It was like their laughter became a
lifeline that kept us all afloat, turning moments of panic into shared bursts of joy. Even when we were on
the verge of burnout, their humor was the one thing that reminded us that, no matter what, we were in this
together. It’s those unforgettable, laughter-filled moments that turned a stressful experience into
                                       something we’ll all remember fondly.
