Lusaka West School is a premier institution providing

comprehensive secondary education for students from
grades 8 to 12. We adhere to the Zambian School
Curriculum, accredited by the Examination Council of
Zambia, ensuring a robust academic foundation.
Moreover, we offer the esteemed Cambridge Assessment
International Education Programme (IGCSE) for our senior S

 The School is in Lusaka West, 2km off Mumbwa Road in the vicinity of the
Zambia Open University, in a serene, safe, peaceful and clean environment.
Lusaka West School is a Day and Boarding School, run as a self-managing
(Private) institution by a School Board and is a sister learning Institution to
Eden University. Our philosophy as a School is guided by our motto, vision,

OUR SCHOOL UNIFORM
EXTRA/CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
Every learner will be expected to participate in the extra/cocurricular activities
that shall be offered by the school. These will include, sports and athletics of
various kinds, educational excursions and tours, academic and capacity building
bootcamps, and many more.
TRANSPORTATION: Our School prides its self with adequate and reliable transport
facilities to ferry our learners anyway within & outside the country safe & on time.
 OUR FEES (2024)
We have very competitive fees and by far fair enough considering the quality
and standards of education that the School offers.
Tuition Fees (Payable termly)

i. Junior Secondary (Grade 8 and 9/Form 1-2) - K7,000.00

ii. Senior Secondary (Grade 10 to 12/form 3-5) - K8,500.00

Boarding & Catering fees (payable termly)

i. Boarding Fee K6,000.00

ii. Lunch Fee (Day Scholars) K2,500.00

 Cambridge Examination Fees

Parents who desire that their child takes the Cambridge route should contact
the IGCSE Coordinator for more information. Cambridge charge a fee for each
examination entry as set by the Cambridge Assessment International
Education.
Other Charges (payableonce off & non-refundable)

i.Registration and Administration Charge - K2,000.00

ii.Maintenance - K500.00
 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

For a learner to be accepted at Lusaka West School the minimum requirements for entry
shall be: -
1. The child will be assessed in Mathematics, English and Science. This will be done by
appointment.
2. Once assessment has been made the parent/guardian shall be given feedback on the
performance of the child.
3. A child that does not meet the minimum pass mark (50%) shall not be accepted but may
opt to take a second assessment after one term or as agreed by management.
4. Once a child is accepted, the parents will be asked to submit to the School.
a) Two passport size photos (latest).
b) Certified copy of the latest transfer/progress report from the last school attended.
c) Clearance form from last school attended.
5. The admission process will be completed upon the payment of the prescribed fees and
purchase of the school requisites as laid down.
6. The child will be admitted to the School as a border or day scholar on the date and time
communicated by the School.
