CONTOH TEKS BACAAN (5)

1. A Memorable Trip to Yogyakarta

Last holiday, my family and I went to Yogyakarta. We traveled by train
and arrived in the morning. First, we visited the famous Borobudur Temple.
It was very big and beautiful. Then, we walked around Malioboro Street
and bought souvenirs like keychains and batik clothes. At night, we ate
traditional food such as gudeg and bakpia. I also learned about Javanese
culture and history. It was a fun and educational trip. I hope to visit again
someday.

2. Holiday at My Uncle’s Farm

During the school holiday, I stayed at my uncle’s farm in the village. Every
morning, I helped feed the chickens and goats. I also watered the plants
and picked fresh vegetables from the garden. In the afternoon, I played
with the village children. We flew kites and swam in the river. The air was
fresh and the sky was clear. I really enjoyed the peaceful life in the
countryside. It was a different experience from living in the city.

3. Rainy Days at Home

My holiday was different this time because it rained almost every day. I
couldn’t go to the beach or the park. So, I stayed at home and did many
indoor activities. I read storybooks, drew pictures, and helped my mom
cook new recipes. Sometimes, I watched educational videos on YouTube.
Even though I didn’t go anywhere, I learned new things and spent quality
time with my family. It wasn’t boring at all!
4. Camping in the Forest
Last weekend, I joined a camping trip with my school friends. We went to a
forest not far from the city. We set up tents and made a campfire. At
night, we sat around the fire, sang songs, and told funny stories. The next
morning, we went hiking and saw some wild animals like deer and squirrels. I
learned how to survive in nature and work as a team. It was tiring, but I
had a great time.

5. My First Time at the Beach

Last holiday, I visited the beach for the first time. The weather was sunny
and the sea was calm. I collected seashells, built a big sandcastle, and ran
along the shore. My father taught me how to swim in the shallow water.
We also rode a banana boat, and it was super exciting! In the evening, we
watched the sunset. It was so beautiful, with orange and pink colors in the
sky. I will never forget that day.

she went inside.

She saw three bowls of porridge on the table. She tasted the big one — too hot.
The medium one — too cold. The small one — just right, so she ate it all.

Then she sat in the three chairs. The small one broke. She went upstairs and
tried three beds. The small bed was just right, and she fell asleep.

Later, the bear family came home. They were shocked to find their food eaten
and their bed used! Goldilocks woke up, screamed, and ran away. She never
returned again.

to get help. Lira became known as the Kind Witch of the Forest.

The people praised her courage. She proved that being small doesn't mean being
weak.
4. The Wolf and the Clever Girl

A wolf wanted to eat a girl in the woods. He pretended to be her grandmother

and wore a dress.

ears so big?” she asked.

She ran out, called for help, and the neighbors chased the wolf away. The girl
was clever and brave.

5. Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih

Bawang Putih was kind and hardworking. Bawang Merah, her stepsister, was lazy
and mean.

One day, Bawang Putih helped an old woman. As a reward, she received a magical
