REQUIREMENTS FOR MARRIAGE LICENSE BETWEEN FILIPINOS


1. PSA-issued Birth Certificate of the contracting parties
2. Transcription copy of birth certificates from the Local Civil Registrar (LCR) in the Philippines, if the
PSA-issued birth Certificate is not clear or readable
3. Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR or Certificate of Proof of Singleness)

4. a. For applicants aged 18-21 during the filing of application, to submit an Affidavit of Parental Consent
b. For applicants aged 22-25 during the filing of application, to submit an Affidavit of Parental Advice.
In the event that parental/guardian consent is not given, there is a waiting period of three months after
the banns are posted.
5. a. For widowed applicants, submit a PSA-issued death certificate of the former husband/wife and PSA-
issued record of previous marriage
b. For annulled applicants – submit a court´s decision and Certificate of Finality of Annulment and
PSA-issued marriage contract with annotation that the marriage is already annulled and void.
6. Three (3) duly filled out application forms.
7. Names of two (2) witnesses
8. Original and three (3) photocopies of the following:
a. Passport
b. Resident permit
c. ID cards/Passport of witnesses
9. Four (4) photos, size 2 x 2 cm.
10. Applicants must personally submit the above documents.
11. Fee
a. Report of Marriage and Marriage License – 22.50 euros
b. Solemnization of marriage (must be paid on the day of the wedding schedule) – 54.00 euros
c. Affidavit of Parental Consent/Advice (for ages 18-25 years old) – 22.50 euros
