“Oh no, why’s the lion staring at me?!

” I screeched as the lion started to move its

way to me.
it was a regular Sunday afternoon, my mother is going to take me to the zoo.
Although it was quite common, I couldn’t hold the fact that I’m still exhilarated to
visit somewhere I have gone to many times. However, there was something I’m
looking forward to, the new tiger exhibition!
After a few hours, we had finished packing our items and headed straight to my
mother’s car. During the long car ride, I closed my eyes as I knew it is going to be a
long way to the zoo as I live in Jelapang while the zoo is at the edge of the country!
After a few painstaking hours, I finally reached the zoo. Right in front of the entrance,
there was a huge poster about the tiger showcase. As we headed into the zoo, we
immediately saw the entrance to the tiger’s dome.
When we entered the dome, the place was packed like a tin of sardines, it was hard
to even gasp for air. Alas, after a few hours of waiting, the crowd has dispersed.
When I peeped through the iron bars to the terrarium, there they were! A streak of
Tigers! However, according to another person, the tiger was looking at the crowd just
now. As I took a closer look, the tiger was not looking at me. Disappointed, I tried to
bring the tiger’s attention by shouting but to no avail.
Just then, an idea streaked up my mind, Maybe I should hit the Tiger! Looking around
for objects, I noticed a few pinecones sitting beside me. As I took the pinecone, I
threw it directly to the tigers head. All of a sudden, the tiger stared at me ferociously,
I stood stiff to the ground, terrified. As I was petrified, the tiger slowly made its way
to the iron bar and just before I knew it, BAM! The tiger scratched the iron bar so
strongly, the iron bar cracked! I quickly scram away as the tiger broke loose. It was
not long before the zoo keepers strangled the tiger and sent it back to his dome.
After this incident, I learnt not to hit dangerous animals or it may end up like what
happened to me, what a lesson!
