With the bizhub C253 and the bizhub C353, Konica Minolta
presents two highly modular colour and b/w multifunctionals for
busy workgroups and departments. Both are easily adapted to
fulfil any modern office’s specific demands. Offering individual
combinations of innovative technology, comprehensive
functionality and a wealth of advanced applications, the bizhub
C253 and C353 can be customised into almost any all-round
communication solution a busy team or workgroup might require.

The communication concept

n intuitive operation via high resolution colour display
and touchscreen:
– display can be tilted and turned to remove glare
and assist access
– enlarge screen mode for easy reading and keystroke entry

n visible information about status, processing and warnings

via InfoLine:
– paper level status per tray
– receiving data, processing and toner replenishment status

n unique box functionality facilitates the storing, archiving and

sharing of scanned, printed, copied and fax documents for
reprinting and repeat sending:
– 1,000 boxes for up to 3,000 documents or 9,000 pages
– user boxes can be protected by password or user
authentication (personal, public or group)
– PageScope Box Operator allows the direct accessing and
downloading of the stored data from the PC
– multi-file preview enables fast searches via thumbnails

n comprehensive scanning:
– scan-to-eMail, FTP, SMB and Box plus TWAIN scan
– scan-to-DPWS, scan-to-USB (optional)
– high speed scanning of up to 70 originals per minute
– choice of scan formats include Multipage PDF, Encrypted PDF,
Compact PDF, JPEG, TIFF and XPS

and provides reliable status monitoring as well as efficient device
management, including:

individual or all devices on the network
– PageScope Data Administrator: makes the integration of new
equipment into existing workflows and the programming of
eMail address fast and simple.

offers a comprehensive range of security features and is certified to
ISO15408 EAL3.
