HOW TO NURTURE YOURSELF

BASED ON YOUR BIRTH
CHART?

The placement of your Moon holds a detailed guide when it comes

to what you need to feel ful lled, happy, nourished and content. In
this book, I will walk you through how to nd out where your Moon
is, what aspects it forms, and how to make sense of its message.

STEP 1: WHERE’S MY MOON?

If you know where your Moon is and what aspects it forms:

Congratulations, you’re o cially initiated to the art of Astrology!

If you don’t though, here’s the how-to:

To gure out where your Moon is in signs and zodiac signs,

along with the aspects it forms, go to the following link. On
this page, enter your information and click “select service”,
“astrology report”.

Once you have entered your data and pulled your chart, look
for your Moon placement in sign, house, and note all the
aspects reported.
fi
ffi
fi
fi
4

Note: If your time of birth is unknown or inaccurate, you won’t be

able to take into consideration the house, and the aspects. If your
time of birth is inaccurate but within an hour window or so, you can
factor in the aspects, but not the houses.

Further note: If your time of birth is unknown or inaccurate, in

some unfortunate cases, Moon will be at either the very end of a
sign, or the very beginning of a sign. If that is the case, your Moon
sign might be dependent on your exact time of birth. If this is your
case I recommend doing the following: Check where the Moon is if
you were born at midnight, and where it would be if you were born
at 11:59pm. Check both Moon signs and see what ts!

STEP 2: INTERPRETING

When interpreting your Moon, there are three steps to it:

1. Your Moon by sign

2. Your Moon by house
3. Your Moon by aspect

For this exercise, I invite you to do the following:

Read up your Moon by sign.

In +90% of the cases, this will be highly relatable to you and
will apply quite strongly.
Why is there 10% left? Sometimes, your Moon placement by
house and aspect will contradict so strongly the
fi
5

interpretation by sign, that the interpretation ends up being

complicated and layered. This is why it’s important to learn
the art of birth chart reading, but nonetheless, this book
should allow for clarity.

Read up your Moon by house.

You can also read up the Moon sign associated with this
house. It won’t apply fully but you will feel some resonance
with the energy!

Your Moon by aspect.

This is the most complicated one and it’s the beginning of
diving deep in birth chart reading. I will give you the essence
of each aspect.

NURTURING YOUR MOON:

BY SIGN

MOON IN ARIES

Physical activity

If your Moon is in Aries, you are someone who needs to be

physically active. The choice of activity is yours, but above
everything else, your body needs to be moving. The more you
move, the more you exert physical energy, the better your mental
health. Some people will pursue a gruelling workout regimen,
others will throw themselves passionately (or not) into their work,
and others will pursue more … Sensual ways of spending energy.

Taking actions

With Moon in Aries, you need to be taking action - now! This is a

Moon sign that really needs to be actively doing things + making
decisions. Normally, this is something that comes naturally to this
Moon sign, but if you happen to have a chart that has more
indecisive or passive energies, you could be shying away from your
nature.
With Moon in Aries, you need to have daily goals and crush them!
7

Adrenaline

This is also a Moon sign that needs some sort of adrenaline shot
inside their body. Usually, with this Moon sign, you want to pursue
activities that give you a dopamine/adrenaline hit! Usually, this
Moon sign will appreciate things like thrill rides, scary movies, or
some sort of extreme sport. Pick your adventure!

Passion

Last but not least, Moon in Aries needs to feel passionate about
something. With this Moon sign, if you’re not currently crushing on
someone, then you really need to nd something to express your
passion: A sport, a hobby, a cause; something to pursue and
emulate!

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Move your body

• Take actions
• Focus on your goals
• Get adrenaline/dopamine boosts
• Do something you’re passionate about

MOON IN TAURUS

A relaxed environment

With Moon in Taurus, the primary need is relaxation. Someone with

this Moon needs an absolute nest above all else. Somewhere safe,
calm, and cozy, where they can unwind and relax.
Someone with a Moon in Taurus NEEDS a cozy home, somewhere
with lots of comfy couches, blankets, and candles. A lot of attention
should be directed to making the home the most senses-indulging
environment. Not only should it look good, and feel good, but it
should also smell good and of course, taste good. The home should
be lled with cooking and baking items that taste, smell, and look
good. Of course, the kitchen should be fully stocked, and, the home
should be as functional as possible. With a Moon in Taurus, your
needs for your senses to be indulged are equally as high as your
need for things to be comfortable and easy.

A relaxed inner life

With a Moon in Taurus, it’s very important for you to have calm,
stability and serenity. Surely, a cozy and peaceful home is one
aspect of it, but you also really need to cultivate grounding and
anchoring in every way possible. Add plants to your home, touch
soil, plant your feed in the grass, and do grounding exercises that
focus on presence and breath. Taurus Moon needs stillness and
peace, and although you can create this energy in your external
environment, this is also something that must be cultivated within.
With Moon in Taurus you bene t from doing breathing work,
bodywork that focuses on presence and grounding, gardening,
fi
fi
9

cooking, and any activity really that is solitary + forces you to be

present, in the moment.

A luxurious lifestyle

Cultivating luxury is a key component of Taurus energy. Whether

it’s indulging in a spa day, doing a staycation at a luxury hotel, or
more accessible pleasures like putting a hot towel infused with
lavender oil on your face, or maybe you take a bath with all the
luxuries: Wine, candles, relaxing music and your favourite book
(remember: ALL senses must be indulged). You thrive when
injecting daily luxuries into your day. With this Moon sign, you want
to cultivate multiple instances throughout your day to bask in the
glory of your luxury.

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Create a safe and relaxed environment

• Indulge all of your senses
• Create pleasure and luxury
• Nurture your home & comfort
• Practice grounding & anchoring activities

MOON IN GEMINI

Talk it out

With your Moon in Gemini, one of your greatest needs is to

communicate.
People with this Moon sign are constantly video calling their friends
or texting throughout the day to share their thoughts, musings and
questions. With this Moon sign, you want to practice
communicating throughout your day and not only talking and
sharing what’s on your mind but also learning from other people
and letting their mind feed yours. With this Moon sign, there is an
endless curiosity that must be ful lled.

Nurture the mind

Endlessly curious, this Moon sign is constantly seeking to acquire

and process new information. Usually always up to speed with the
latest news and constantly learning something new - be it a skill, a
language, or anything really that is mind-stimulating. With this
Moon sign, you must be on a constant quest for learning, and
throughout your day, focus on nding ways to nurture your mind.
Maybe it’s reading up the news, maybe it’s an app that teaches you
something new every day, maybe it’s reading a few pages of a book,
or maybe it’s just an intellectual game on your phone. Crosswords
and games involving words are nurturing too!
fi
fi
11

Process your thoughts

With a Moon in Gemini, there’s a tendency to think about your

feelings more than feeling them. Usually, there’s truly an excess of
thoughts and a tendency to ruminate or overprocess. It’s a good
idea for this Moon sign to take the practice of journaling and
ending your daily journaling with bullet points or bottom lines
conclusions to avoid spinning back on it endlessly. It’s also a good
idea to learn how to name your emotions every day, as part of your
journaling routines. Remember: “I feel like” is not a feeling, but a
thought!

Move the body

Because Moon in Gemini is so focused on the intellectual realm, it’s

a good idea to inject a daily workout so that you can move out of
the mind space and into the body.

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Keep your mind nurtured & stimulated

• Move your body to o set the excessive intellectual stimulation
• Prioritize plentiful communication
• Learn something new every day
• Journal your thoughts

MOON IN CANCER

Emotional triggers

With Moon in Cancer, the primary need is for emotional safety and
com ness. With this Moon, the primary way you can nurture and
replenish yourself is by spending time at home nourishing yourself
with all the things that bring you soothing and comfort, namely:
Your favourite food, your favourite tv show, your favourite pet, your
favourite person. Comfort is experienced through the emotional
realm, so for every person, there are going to be speci c items and
activities that truly bring a sense of peace. If you need help with
nding these items, look for things that truly make you feel
comfortable: Candy, co ee, nourishing foods, or a tv show that
always makes you feel at peace. With this Moon sign, spending time
at home with your favourite things in the peace of your privacy is a
key element to nourishment.

Happy memories

With Moon in Cancer, we want to experience the type of safety and

soothing that refer back to childhood. Perhaps it’s a weighted
blanket that makes you feel enveloped and protected. Maybe it’s a
stu ed toy - no matter how “childish” it seems, if it brings peace, it
brings peace! Simple pleasures connected to food (maybe your
mom made macaroni and cheese and it was always a happy event,
or maybe there’s something about chocolate cake that truly is
associated with happy memories).
fi
ff
fi
ff
fi
13

As with Moon in Cancer we’re navigating very emotional realms,

your triggers might be connected to music (a speci c song that just
stirs you the right way), or something as simple as a speci c tea
avour that just hits the right spot.

Water hit the spot

As Cancer Moon is so profoundly emotional and watery, it comes

without a surprise: Water is a happy trigger for you. Baths,
showers, jacuzzis, pools, oceans, lakes - you name it! Bring as many
water pleasures as you can in your daily or weekly routines.

Intimacy

Last but not least, with a Cancer Moon you need a lot of emotional
connection. With this Moon, you want to focus on building intimate
connections with family, friends, partners, and anyone who has
enough empathy and sensitivity to build safe and intimate rapport
with you. Relationships should allow for a lot of intimate sharing
and the giving and receiving of your inner world.

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Homey & comfy pleasures

• Cuddles & love notes
• Intimate bonding with loved ones
• Plenty of water activities
• Anything that has a positive emotional charge associated with it

MOON IN LEO

A rmation

Moon in Leo has for primary need to belong and create a shared
sense of belonging. With this placement, there is a strong need for
friendships and community building. In your day-to-day, you want
to surround yourself with people who you love and people who
love you - loudly!
This is a placement that thrives on words of a rmation and truly
feels nourished by giving and receiving compliments. This is a
Moon sign that is actually really receptive to a rmations, not only
the ones you receive from others but also self-a rmations! If any
Moon sign will feel nourished by repeating daily “you are amazing”,
it’s this one!
With this Moon you want to practice giving tons of a rmation and
compliments to the people who surround you, it bene ts you as
much as it bene ts them. There is a strong sense of being
nourished by the validation and a rmation of other people: We
love and you belong right here!

Creativity

The need for belonging is one aspect, and the need for personal
expression is another. With this Moon sign, you would do well to
inject daily activities that allow you to express yourself creatively.
Sometimes, it can be as simple as taking cautious care in adorning
yourself in ways that re ect your personality: Maybe the colours
are bright and loud (like your soul!), playful and creative. It doesn’t
ffi
fi
fl
ffi
ffi
ffi
ffi
ffi
fi
15

have to be your chosen expression, but it’s one that can be easy to
implement on a daily basis.
Having daily activities such as painting, singing, dancing, drawing,
or anything creative really can go a long way in helping you feel
nourished and content.

Busy bee

With a Leo Moon, there’s a strong need for a rich social life. If the
rest of the chart presents more introverted qualities, this need for
socialization might be replaced with more introspective and
creative energy, but in most cases, a Leo Moon needs a busy social
calendar! Going out, meeting new people or bonding with your
people, and attending creative, artistic events are typically very
nourishing to this Moon sign.

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Personal expression
• Play
• Socializing
• Giving & receiving words of a rmation
• Creativity & art

MOON IN VIRGO

Improving

This Moon sign needs to feel helpful and useful above all. Most
people with this placement will throw themselves into their work
and ideally, their work is something that allows them to render a
helpful service. It’s quite common to nd people who have a
“helping profession” and even for those who work in other
industries, there’s a strong need to feel helpful and like you’re
participating in “improvement” at the workplace. This energy does
not have to apply at work necessarily or exclusively, but it’s quite a
typical energy for this Moon sign.
Zooming out of the scope of work, Moon in Virgo needs to be
working on things daily. The goal is to improve and render more
e cient, more re ned. If this energy does not play out at work,
then you will nd that organizing your house, making your house
more e cient, and prettier is truly ful lling for you. Equally, it can
be another endeavour like working at a craft and sharpening your
skills every day, working on a tness goal, or even working at
eliminating bad habits or implementing new ones. The goal is to
improve endlessly - yourself, your work, your environment, your
health, and your daily life.

Thoughtful Living

The overall energy of Moon in Virgo is thoughtfulness. You’re very

nourished when you take thoughtful actions and when you are on
the receiving end of a thoughtful act. Don’t hesitate to formulate
ffi

these for the people you love! For a Moon in Virgo, a carefully
drafted love note, someone making your martini exactly the way
you like, or making the salad dressing how YOU love it goes a long
way in making you feel loved in all the right spots. You do provide
this energy for others, so receiving it is equally satisfying.
With this Moon sign, you can organize your day with thoughtful
planning. Actually, purchase a board or have a schedule ready on
your computer/phone: Intentionally design your days in a way that
includes e ciency and thoughtful self-care. Usually, it will involve
thoughtful care of your body, your health, and your cleaning
routine.
In your day-to-day, you want to focus on having everything
“perfect” - Cook yourself a thoughtful meal, lled with nourishing
and grounding foods, with a carefully chosen movie or book, and a
curated playlist!

Natural Living

With Moon in Virgo, there’s usually a strong appeal to natural

everything. Try switching all your habits to organic/natural
products, from cleaning to body care to food. Neutral tones,
e cient layouts, and of course: Plants! This energy is profoundly
nurturing and you will naturally gravitate toward nding people
and things to nurture “back to health” - a strong appeal for Virgo
Moon. Nothing ful lls you more than bringing a plant back from the
brink of death, caring for a sickly loved one, caring for a pet who
depends on you for its survival or xing something that’s broken.
When you’re not improving - you’re xing!

MOON IN LIBRA

Balance

Moon in Libra primary need is for balance and harmony. The rst
thing a Libra Moon must have to feel nourished is a little bit of
everything! If you’re nding yourself overworking, overcommitting
to your social life, overdoing sports or overdoing isolation, you will
feel the cost of it very quickly! This Moon sign needs absolute
balance in all things, a tall order! You want to make sure that your
weeks have a bit of everything to it: Fun, play, work, health and
tness, a bit of indulgence, and a bit of discipline! This Moon sign
really thrives when you feel like everything in your life is perfectly
balanced and adjusted.
Activities that promote alignment and balance are really well
appreciated by this Moon: Pilates, yoga, stretching and dancing.

Beautiful surroundings

This need for balance and harmony is going to play out not only in
having the right quantity of everything but also primarily when it
comes to your aesthetic! Libra is a very visual sign and for this
Moon sign more than any other, the home must be a paradise for
the eyes. A clean, simple, modern, and beautiful environment goes
a long way in nourishing your soul. It doesn’t necessarily have to be
practical, or comfortable, but it does have to look stunning! As Libra
is fundamentally driven by relationships, your home should be
beautiful but also welcoming to other people, as you probably want
them to come to you… often! Carefully design a home that soothes
fi
fi
fi
20

your eyes and soul every day, and keep it tidy. Although Libra is not
fundamentally driven by a desire to keep things clean, it does need
for things to be harmonious and beautiful, so, mess there cannot
be!
More than just your home, a Libra Moon will also need everything
to look beautiful: From the way you dress, the way you adorn
yourself and the possessions you have, the more you focus on
acquiring and displaying your sense of aesthetic and harmony, the
happier you become.

Harmonious relationships

Last but not least, Libra Moon is fundamentally driven by

relationships and partnerships. This is a Moon sign that can nd
themselves quite despondent when single unless they have enough
quality relationships around them to give them the relating they
need. With a Moon in Libra, you need lots of relating but more
importantly, you need peaceful relating. Moon in Libra is really a
sign that will quickly die from too much con ict. This Moon sign is
fundamentally driven to meet other people’s needs and please
them. When relationships lack harmony and are riddled with even
minor con ict, someone with a Moon in Libra won’t be able to rest
and experience safety until the con ict is resolved. Because Moon
in Libra is likely to bend and twist just to go back to harmony, it’s
primordial with this placement to surround yourself with people
who value collaboration, compromise and harmony as much as you
do!
It’s also important to assess whether the people who surround you
are as eager to meet your needs as you are eager to meet theirs.
Harmony must exist on all levels for Libra Moon to feel content.
fl
fl

21

This need for balance and harmony will also play itself out as a true
longing for justice and fairness. With this Moon sign, you can focus
on involving yourself in activities that are related to justice and
fairness: perhaps an association that focuses on defending those in
need.

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Seeking balance: A little bit of everything every day

• Spending quality time with others
• Creating & nurturing beauty in your environment
• Creating (or upkeeping) harmonious and con ict-free
relationships
• Sports focused on alignment & balance

MOON IN SCORPIO

Intimacy

With Moon in Scorpio, there’s a true and intense need for intimacy.
With this Moon sign though, this is not experienced easily. You
have a strong need for self-protection, privacy and secrecy. At the
same time, what you desire above all is to know yourself deeply,
and know another person deeply, who ideally, also knows you
deeply. With this Moon sign, you need deep and intense emotional
relationships with other people, all the while combating your
natural tendency to keep yourself hidden. On a daily basis, it looks
like practicing acts of bravery by sharing vulnerabilities with others.
Usually, a Scorpio Moon won’t do that with just anyone and will
only share themselves with one chosen intimate partner. We aren’t
always partnered though, so with this Moon sign if you’re not
currently in an intimate relationship, you want to practice daily acts
of intimate bonding with others. Share how you feel, share
something personal and true.
Moon in Scorpio can experience intimacy from self to self, so if the
opportunities don’t present themselves to build these kinds of
relationships with others, you can also focus on building this
closeness with yourself. Intimacy = Into me see. Focus on taking
time to meditate, explore your soul and psyche, ponder why you do
the things you do and give yourself a therapy session - with
yourself or with a professional!
23

Intensity

Scorpio is an intense sign that seeks to feel things powerfully. You

can do sports that are extreme, challenging, and gruelling, as a way
of expressing this powerful need for intensity. Equally, music that
can be intense and extreme, scary movies, spicy food - anything
that will really take things to a more intense level! Scorpio Moon
can surely actually enjoy a bit of pain, and so healthy ways of
experiencing this can be through healthy outlets that take you right
on the edge.

Releasing

Scorpio Moon struggles with letting things go, and so with this
Moon sign, you will experience nourishment when you include daily
practices that focus on letting go. One very common outlet for this
is … orgasm. It’s no secret Scorpio is a very sexual sign and the
principle of orgasm, “la petite mort” (“the little death”) actually quite
accurately represents the intensity, intimacy and release that
Scorpio needs.
Other outlets can be repeating mantras connected to surrendering,
purging your space with herbs (sage, Palo Santo), and practicing
occult rituals like “chord cutting”. Scorpio Moons are usually quite
attracted to the occult and will naturally gravitate toward activities
that focus on purging and releasing.
24

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Activities that o er a release

• Introspection & space for self-intimacy
• Intimate bonding with others
• Intense activities or activities that o er emotional intensity
• Lots of private time

MOON IN SAGITTARIUS

Exploration

With Moon in Sagittarius, there is a strong need to explore,

discover, and expand your horizon. We can’t roam the jungle or
jump in an airplane every day, so with this Moon sign you need to
nd daily ways to ful ll these desires for exploration and
expansion. One way you can do that for a low cost is by reading
books that expand your mind: Philosophy, psychology, spirituality,
religion and all self-help books.
Going on regular hikes, and trails, exploring a new neighbourhood,
talking to strangers and going on spontaneous outings can be
enough to ful ll this Moon.

The need for exploration can be ful lled through mind activities or
through physical activities - but one or the other must be
stimulated, every day!
This Moon sign is not so prone to staying at home, nor putting a
particular value on it (unless the rest of the chart is otherwise
inclined), so with this Moon sign the value is usually found in being
outside rather than inside! Depending on where you live + the
temperatures/weather, this might be easier or harder to do. Invest
in the right gear to ful ll your needs for outings!

Goals

Moon in Sagittarius can also be nurtured through setting goals and

meeting them. This is a Moon sign that particularly thrives on
checklists! Do checklists of the things you have to do, big and small,
fi
fi
fi
fi
fi
26

and get the dopamine hit from marking them complete! People
with Moon in Sagittarius have a strong emotional need to dream
and envision a big future, any step you take that takes you closer to
this vision will make you feel deeply nourished. It’s quite common
to see people with Moon in Sagittarius either living a life of travel
and constant discovery or, living a life of constant growth, often,
connected with business goals.

Fun

With Moon in Sagittarius, the thrill of spontaneity is quite strong.

Although we all need some sort of routine and discipline, with this
Moon sign there must be unknown variables every day for you to
thrive. Go on spontaneous trips, call up a friend last minute, go out
with no particular plan in mind and let the night unravel however it
will!
This is also quite a humorous Moon sign, so watching comedy
shows and attending stand-up comedy is usually one thing that can
be quite nurturing.

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Activities that expand the mind

• Spontaneous activities & adventures
• Exploration
• Envisioning + pursuing goals
• Activities that nurture a sense of freedom
27

MOON IN CAPRICORN

Productivity

With this Moon sign, the most important and rewarding area of
your life is work. Someone with Moon in Capricorn thrives on the
feeling of success and achievement, it’s not so much the prestige
itself, or the money itself (although they help), but the overall
feeling of having set goals and reached them, along with the ability
to be in a position of providing for oneself and for your loved ones.
We can’t be winning Nobel prizes every day or getting a payday
every day, so with this Moon sign, it’s important to nd daily ways
to feel successful.

Daily checklists with lists of goals and chores to complete can really
help with fostering this sense of winning. Making sure you set the
right conditions to be the most performant and productive at work
is also a high priority to experience nourishment.

To summarize, with Moon in Capricorn, the satisfaction comes from

1) knowing you’ve achieved what you set to achieve, 2) the prestige
that comes from being successful 3) the ability to provide for
oneself and others. For this reason, with Moon in Capricorn, there’s
something quite nourishing about spending time daily to strategize
and manage your budget and review spending and investments.
fi
28

Discipline

Nothing is more rewarding for a Moon in Capricorn than following

some routine or discipline. You bene t from spending time weekly
to set your routine, and your goals, and follow through on the tasks
you set out to perform. Typically, money discipline is one big
concern for Moon in Capricorn, but learning how to spend on
yourself is important. Surely, with this Moon sign you want to
spend on things that last and possibly even, will give you a return
on investment in the future. Although Moon in Capricorn
appreciates prestige, it abhors depreciation and what is perceived
as losses.

Compiling

This Moon sign is profoundly nurtured by the daily habits of

providing for yourself and for loved ones. This providing is usually
very practical and this is the type that is the most nourishing to you:
Accomplishing the tasks you set out to do, building things daily that
will provide assets in the future, and the principle of compiling. For
this Moon sign, seeing your saving account building, seeing your
e orts into a new discipline compiling into mastery, or seeing your
progress compiling at the gym; are all things that are profoundly
nourishing to this Moon sign.

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Work
• Activities that have a ROI
• A routine that o ers structure + a sense of being productive
• Things that make you feel successful

MOON IN AQUARIUS

Freedom

With Moon in Aquarius, your primary need is to experience

freedom in any way possible. With this Moon sign you really thrive
when you’re able to live your life on your own terms and as
authentically as possible. If you’re lucky enough to have a work
setting that provides you freedom, it’s already half the battle! If you
don’t, focus on fostering freedom in every way possible: Dress and
adorn yourself in ways that re ect your desire and mood of the
moment, do and say the things you truly feel and think, and not
what is expected of you, choose to surround yourself with activities
and people that truly re ect your values and not what is expected
of you. Finding small ways to express your individuality every day
will nourish you in powerful ways.
This Moon sign usually revels in expressing oneself in complete
eccentricity, the weirder the better! Your background and
upbringing will in uence how comfortable you are with eccentricity
versus conformity so there are varying degrees to which this
expresses itself, but cultivate as much individuality and eccentricity
as possible!

Ideals

This Moon sign is highly idealistic and usually needs to pursue

activities and hobbies that re ect its ideals. It’s not unusual to nd
people who are involved in some humanitarian work with this
Moon sign, and although you’re not required to, with this Moon
sign you will feel ful llment by nding out what your values and
fl
fi
fl
fl
fl
fi
fi
30

ideals are, and pursuing them. For example, maybe you value
creativity above all else, and in this case, you should make sure to
include daily or weekly activities where you either witness and
cherish other people’s creativity, or exercise your own. This Moon
sign can also get quite political (re: ideals) and it’s quite usual to
nd outlets for your ideas to be debated and heard!

Friendships

Moon in Aquarius is highly friendly and really thrives on feeling an

intellectual connection with others. Although there’s usually a
strong need for space, there’s also a strong need for connection.
With this Moon sign, nding the right balance between connection
and space is key to one’s emotional balance. Online friendships and
long-distance relationships are usually perceived as ideals for this
Moon sign, as it usually ful lls both needs simultaneously.

Intellect

Lastly, Moon in Aquarius is highly intellectual and needs a high

amount of intellectual stimulation. Things like podcasts, books, and
documentaries are usually highly appreciated and nourishing. As
Aquarius energy values freedom and doing things intuitively,
there’s usually a lot of appeal found in learning things on your own:

MOON IN PISCES

Sweet escapes

With Moon in Pisces, there is a great need to escape! With this

Moon sign, there is a lot of sensitivity, empathy, and compassion,
and quite often, it’s di cult to operate in the world without the
proper escape!
With your Moon in Pisces, nding daily ways to create space
(physically, emotionally, and spiritually) is important. Listen to
music, read books, and poetry, watch movies, meditate, and walk in
nature. The goal for a Moon in Pisces is to create space physically (a
walk alone in nature), emotionally (nurture your need for softness
and imagination with creative activities) and spiritually (spend time
meditating, praying, and reading about spirituality).

Love with Boundaries

As this is a Moon sign that presents with lots of empathy, it’s

important to carve some time to practice this compassionate
energy (connect with loved ones and with yourself!) but it’s also
important to protect your peace at all costs. Moon in Pisces can
nd it di cult to establish boundaries emotionally, and can easily
end up swallowed in other people’s moods and energies. The need
to create space energetically is both an authentic nourishing need,
and one that acts to ward o the naturally porous boundaries.
Practice navigating empathy and connection with space and
protection.

Moon in Pisces is naturally attuned to the energy of love. Your

heart is open and it’s easy for you to feel over owing love from the
heart space. Pour this energy into caring for yourself, for pets, and
for loved ones. Your energy is naturally nourishing and loving, all
you have to do is nd functional ways to pour this love out while
protecting your peace!

Peace

With this Moon sign, you need a lot of peace. Your energy is
sensitive, and easily disturbed, and it’s important to create a
spiritual space within your home. Make sure the air in your place is
regularly puri ed, and arrange the space so that you have actual
space (no clutter) and soft textures/angles. Open the windows
often, and bathe often! As a water Moon, you need a lot of air
circulation + water bathing to cleanse your energy and keep your
peace.
Any “zen” activity is very recommended for you: Yoga, breathing
exercises, meditation, reading in silence, listening to soft music and
relaxing quietly.

In summary: Daily activities to prioritize

• Plenty of healthy escapes: Movies, art, books nature outings

• Activities that focus on imagination, love, sensitivity
• Self-compassion & compassionate relating
• Zen (and solo?) activities

INTERPRETING YOUR MOON:

BY ASPECT

This is the trickiest part to interpret as part of a simple ebook and

as we get more in-depth in your Astrology, the needs to have
proper interpretation skills become more urgent. Interpreting
aspects is tricky because we must consider a lot of di erent factors
at the same time to come to the right interpretation. I will detail
below the essence of each aspect and, although we won’t be able
to be very precise with these interpretations, they’re a good place
to begin!

Moon in aspect to Sun (similarities to Moon in Leo): You

naturally need to express your emotions authentically and live in
the spotlight.

Moon in aspect to Mercury (similarities to Moon in Gemini):

You naturally need to express your emotions, think about them,
write them down, and communicate them daily. You bene t from
nurturing your mind and curiosity.

Moon in aspect to Venus (similarities to Moon in Libra): You

naturally need to be pleasant and kind. You naturally tend to please
others, charm them, seduce them, and do them favours. It makes
you happy to make people happy! Having harmony around you is
also very important and nourishing.
ff
fi
39

Moon in aspect to Mars (similarities to Moon in Aries): You

naturally need to take action! All the time! With this aspect there’s
usually a strong sense of being brave, courageous, active, and also
… emotionally reactive! It’s best to learn how to manage your
emotional responses with this aspect and learn how to keep your
nervous system regulated, as it is easily aroused.

Moon in aspect to Jupiter (similarities to Moon in Sagittarius):

You naturally need constant growth and learning. Being a student
of life is important to you, always exploring with your mind and
body.

Moon in aspect to Saturn (similarities to Moon in Capricorn):

Tough aspect. If it’s a trine or a sextile, you’re mature, regulated,
and maybe a bit distant with your emotions but at least you know
how to respond and not react, and you’re responsible emotionally.
If it’s any other aspect, you struggle with fearful attachment and
feeling lonely. There’s a tendency to shut yourself o from your
empathy, judge/criticize/shame yourself (and therefore possibly
others). With this aspect, one must heal and learn how to relate to
themselves and others with more connection, empathy,
forgiveness and kindness. There’s usually an unlearning to do
emotionally. Cultivating more relationships is important, but
cultivating emotionally connected relationships is even more
important.

Moon in aspect to Neptune (similarities to Moon in Pisces): If

it’s a trine or a sextile, you’re very compassionate and forgiving,
very much so like the archetype of Moon in Pisces. If it’s any other
ff

aspect, although the Piscean qualities remain, there are usually

problems around self-sacri ce and emotional boundaries. With this
aspect, it can be hard to not indulge in dynamics where you are
invading or being invaded by others, and where both people are
getting their needs met. With this aspect, learning about
boundaries and accountability can be an important part of healing
dysfunctional patterns.

Moon in aspect to Pluto (similarities to Moon in Scorpio): If it’s a

trine or a sextile, it gives a lot of emotional resilience, a sense of
being almost “psychic”, a very good ability to understand others
emotionally and a true ability for bonding and devotion. If it’s any
other aspect, the ability to have intimate and connected
relationships is usually prevented by a deep fear of being
su ocated and controlled, or abandoned and betrayed. Usually, it
will give rise to a lot of complicated behaviours, all subconscious
usually, designed to keep the power and control the dynamics (and
therefore the fears). This is another aspect that typically suggests
the need for healing.

WHAT STUDENTS SAID:

Rossana C.TL
It was everything that I expected and more. I joined the
class to know a little bit about a passion that I had since I was
little and ended up knowing a manual, understanding
myself as if I was reading a book and enjoying it a lot.

Understanding a little bit more about the people that

surround me and wanting to follow my purpose in life. Thank
you Julia for this wonderful experience, dedication and
knowledge. Looking forward to level 2.

Cathy V
"I absolutely loved the class. You can tell that Julia is
extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Astrology. I
couldn't have asked for a better teacher and class. Julia is very
supportive and really wants to see you succeed. The class is
broken down in a way that is easily digestable given the
complexities of the topic at hand. It was just an overall
spectacular experience"

Melania P.
"The class was such a great experience! I found it really easy
to follow the class yet the knowledge I acquired is much
deeper than what I was expecting. With her guidance and
support, I feel so much more con dent to interpret my chart
and use it for self-actualization purposes. I'll be on the lookout
for the Level 2 - thank you so much for this!"

KvM
"I would absolutely recommend taking Julia's class! The
insights I have gathered on myself (and on friends, family ... it
gets addictive to try reading people's charts!) is just
mindblowing. It is a thorough course, covering everything I
hoped for"

"In addition to understanding myself, what triggers my

emotions, my actions, drive and uniqueness, it has helped me
get to the heart of matters in therapy. I do have one regret,
that I didn't learn Astrology and understand my natal
chart 20 years ago. If not for your class I would be guessing if
I'm on the right path. Thank you so much!"

A. McGuire
"As someone with limited background in Astrology I didn't
really know what to expect when I signed up for this class, but
it felt like an opportunity I couldn't pass up. I'm so glad I did!
Julia provided so much juicy information in a way that is
easy to digest and understand. Her lessons are saturated
with detail and deeply engaging. Each week builds up on
top of the next, unveiling layers of understanding and a
more complete picture of how it all ties together. I am
leaving with so much precious information, I learn something
new every time I reread a lesson! If anyone has curiosity for
astrology or learning about themselves as well as others, I
would highly recommend taking this class.

Madeleine
"Before I took Julia's class I felt con dent about my overall
understanding of Astrology but knew nothing about the nitty-
gritty details of reading birth charts. Julia breaks down each
topic with clarity and ease. Suddenly, all the pieces came
together for me! Now after only a few weeks, I am 100%
more con dent with charts and have the tools to keep
learning on my own! "

Jorge
"I loved that the class was really challenging at times and it
de nitely made me feel I was learning and facing
interpretations with my own intuition and knowledge, and not
just checking I read well. Julia is a kind, clear and witty guide in
this journey. She's an amazing teacher, no doubt about that."

"My work with Julia was truly amazing. I had always been kind
of bummed by my Sun sign and the rigidity of it. Through the
class, I learned what a small piece the sun sign is and so much
explanation for why I am the way I am (And why that's OK!)... I
hope to continue this work to learn more about planning my
future. Would highly recommend this course to anyone who
has an interest in the subject or wants a create way to work
on themselves"

"Entered this class thinking I was only going to gain more

knowledge of Astrology, but left with a deeper understanding
of myself and those around me. Every week was lled with 'a-
ha' moments that opened the eyes into the inner workings of
my soul. Worth every cent"
