London
SE14 6BY

Note: Gatwick is closest to Apt 406

I don’t recommend the Express services from either airport as they are more expensive and take
you to the wrong parts of London to access Apt 406

Heathrow:
1. Heathrow Airport Underground Station: Take the Piccadilly Line (Dark blue line -
Eastbound/Central London) to Hammersmith Underground Station – 30 Mins journey time;

Street Rail Station;

2. East Croydon Rail Station: Change platforms (ask advice, though normally Platform 3) and take
the train to New Cross Gate Rail Station (NOT to be confused with New Cross Rail Station) – 12 or
21 Min journey time;

3. New Cross Gate Rail Station: Bus or Walk: Bus: Turn left out of the station and walk to Bus Stop
and take the 53, 453 or 177 – get off at New Cross Rail Station – 3-6 Min journey time depending

CHECK -IN/OUT

Check-in

Is from 3pm

Early check ins are unfortunately not always possible as I will often have guests departing and
the apartment will normally be in the process of being refreshed and cleaned, however we will
always try and accommodate any requests, especially if it is just to leave bags.

Please let us know in advance when you roughly intend to check-in as I will endeavour to meet
you personally.

If I am not there for there for the ‘check-in’ please obtain the keys to the lockbox (see ‘Keys’
below).

Check-out

Is at 11am

Cleaners will normally arrive at this time to clean the home for the next arriving guest - if you
need to leave bags/stay beyond this time please check with me and I will do my best to
accommodate any additional requirements.

Please leave the home as you found it……I live here :0)

If I am not there for there for the ‘check-out’ please return the keys to the lockbox (see ‘Keys’
below) when you leave and double check to make sure that the box is secure and no codes are
left visible.
GETTING AROUND LONDON
To get around London you will either need an Oyster Card or use a Contactless credit or debit card
(Visa, Mastercard or AMEX) – these are accepted on: trains, buses, trams and the underground.

The Oyster Card:

Can be bought when you arrive at Gatwick or Heathrow Airports and costs £5 (subject to change)
which (I think) is refundable and works by adding/topping up with credit (I would allow approx £10 a
day to cover travel around central London)

https://tfl.gov.uk/fares-and-payments/oyster/what-is-oyster

Contactless (Bank) Cards:

If your debit/credit card has the contactless symbol (see below) it can be used exactly the same way
as an Oyster Card and charges the same fares – I use this as you don’t have to queue and top up
which wastes time

Useful Websites & Apps:

To navigate around London, I recommend the following:

App: Citymapper and Bus Times
