Comic Book Heroes
First off, thank you for trying out my brushes.
I was a comic book nut since you could get them for 25
cents. There was a mini-mart on my way home from
school with a spin-rack full of the latest superhero
adventures, and I stopped there often with anticipation,
eager to see what new titles had arrived.
That’s where my appreciation for art blossomed.
Traditional comic book art holds a special place in my
heart, and I have a special appreciation for inking artists.
The bold, heavy brush strokes of Klaus Janson, the
technical penmanship of Terry Austin, and the chaotic
artistry of Bill Sienkiewicz were among my favorites.
I missed traditional inking tools sorely in Procreate so I Before you start!
