My Academic and Personal Journey.
Since I was very young, education has been a fundamental part of
my life. I started my pre-kindergarten studies in 2011, when I was
only three years old. During that early stage, I attended several
institutions, including. Back then, I used to be a very sleepy child,
but at the same time full of energy. I used to be constantly
moving, exploring the world around me through play.
I completed my primary education at, starting in 2014. At that
time, I used to be a shy girl with little self-confidence, although
still curious and energetic. I used to enjoy sports like ballet and
gymnastics, but my shyness made me give them up. I used to be
good at subjects like art, physical education, and natural science,
while math, Spanish, and social studies were more challenging for
me. However, everything began to change in fourth grade. I met
people who had a positive impact on my academic performance,
and I started getting better grades. I discovered my love for soccer
and strengthened my passion for science. I also used to participate
in school activities like dances and theater plays.
High school has been a stage full of learning and challenges. At
first, I managed a good balance between academics and social
life, keeping grades between 90 and 95. Even though I used to be
shy around new people, I felt comfortable with my group of
friends. In my first year of high school, I joined the girls’ soccer
team, where I found peace and happiness. I used to be a bit
distracted and sleepy, but this never affected my academic results.
However, the pandemic brought unexpected changes. Online
classes had a negative impact on my performance and personal
relationships. I used to participate less, I lost friends due to
distance, and I used to get distracted easily by technology.
Despite these challenges, I discovered a new passion for reading,
which allowed me to stay connected to learning from a different
perspective.
When we returned to in-person classes, it was hard to adjust at
first, but I eventually got back on track. I started taking on new
challenges, such as participating in academic olympiads and
trying new activities. I began baking desserts more often, which
turned into one of my greatest passions. I also improved
significantly in science and math, which became my favorite
subjects along with physical education.
During the last two years of high school, I experienced
unforgettable moments. In 11th grade, I participated for the first
time in the Internal Natural Science Olympiads and made it to the
next stage. I also took part in the Model United Nations. Although
I didn’t win, I learned a lot and improved my public speaking
skills. In 12th grade, I participated in the olympiads again. Even
though I didn’t move on to the next stage, I truly enjoyed the
experience. I focused more on academics but continued practicing
soccer, a sport I had grown to love deeply.
Now, as I close this important chapter in my life, I’ve made a
significant decision for my future: to study Chemical Engineering.
I feel passionate about this field because it teaches how to
transform matter into useful products for society, with industrial
applications that impact our everyday lives. I chose to study at
INTEC, one of the top universities in the country for engineering.
I know it won’t be easy, but I’m ready to face every challenge
with dedication, discipline, and a strong desire to learn.
