Today, I would like to talk about my last holiday.
Last year, I went to Sa Pa with
my family. It is located in Lao Cai province, and we stayed there for two days.
On the first day, we visited Fansipan Mountain – the highest peak in Indochina.
We took a cable car to the mountain and enjoyed the spectacular views below. I
was proud to set foot here, and on the way to the top, I saw a beautiful pagoda in
the clouds. On the second day, we explored Cat Cat Village and learned a lot
about the cultures of the local ethnic groups. We also took many photos with the
people there and enjoyed some special local foods such as sticky rice in bamboo
and grilled pork. Another special thing was the weather. Even though I went to
Sa Pa in the summer, it was very cool and comfortable. I think everyone should
visit Sa Pa at least once in their life.
Today, I would like to talk about my last holiday. Last summer, I visited Ha Long
Bay with my family. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Quang Ninh
province, famous for its emerald waters and thousands of limestone islands. And
I stayed there for three days. On the first day, we visited the Quang Ninh
Museum and explored its exhibitions. In the evening, we enjoyed fresh seafood
and played games together in our villa. On the second day, we took a boat tour
around the bay to explore the caves and admire the spectacular scenery. In the
afternoon, we went to a water park and had fun on the giant water slides. In the
evening, we tried many delicious local dishes at nearby restaurants. On the third
day, we went to the beach in the morning to swim and play in the sand. After that,
we began our journey home. On the way, we stopped at Dau Moi Market to buy
some souvenirs and local specialties. The weather was very comfortable on the
first and second days, but on the third day, the sky was filled with dark clouds, so
it made the morning at the beach feel a bit gloomy. With me, it was a wonderful
trip, and I will always remember it.
