1.

Do you have a background in Law or are you currently enrolled in Law

School?
Yes, I hold a Juris Doctor degree from Liceo de Cagayan University, which I
completed in March 2019.

2. Do you have experience working as a paralegal in a U.S. law firm?

No, while my paralegal experience was with a Philippine-based law firm, I performed
essential legal tasks such as drafting pleadings, affidavits, petitions, and contracts—
skills highly transferable to a U.S. legal setting.

3. Are you familiar with specific legal practice areas?

Yes, my work involved general legal practice including civil and administrative law,
supported by hands-on legal research and drafting responsibilities.

4. Are you proficient with technology tools used in communication and legal
research?
Yes, My roles have required the use of various digital platforms for communication,
research, and document management. I am quick to adapt to new tools, including
those applicable in the Philippines. Here's how this applies in the local context:

Communication Tools

In the Philippines, commonly used communication platforms include:

Email (Gmail, Outlook) – for formal communication.

Messaging apps (Viber, WhatsApp, Messenger) – widely used in both personal and
professional contexts.

Video conferencing tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet) – essential for
virtual meetings, hearings, and remote legal consultations.

Collaboration platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) – used for document

sharing, real-time editing, and coordination among legal teams.

Legal Research Tools

For Philippine-specific legal research, I am knowledgeable about:

ChanRobles Virtual Law Library – an online repository of Philippine laws, statutes,

and jurisprudence.

The LawPhil Project (lawphil.net) – provides access to Philippine Supreme Court

decisions, statutes, and constitutional documents.

Supreme Court E-Library – official repository of the Philippine judiciary’s issuances

and references.

LEX Libris and CD Asia – subscription-based platforms used by many law firms and
legal institutions in the Philippines.
Jurisprudence databases and digital legal resources – for case law research and
statutory interpretation.

5. How would you describe your organizational skills and attention to detail?
My extensive administrative experience—managing executive schedules and
provincial operations—demonstrates strong organizational abilities and a high level of
attention to detail, essential in both legal and executive roles.

I would describe my organizational skills and attention to detail as

strengths that I have continually developed throughout my
professional journey. Having served in multiple administrative and
executive support roles — such as Officer-In-Charge, Executive
Secretary, and Acting Municipal Administrator — I’ve consistently
been responsible for managing complex schedules, coordinating
programs, and supporting high-level officials with precision and
reliability. These roles demanded meticulous planning, accurate
documentation, and the ability to anticipate needs, all of which
required keen attention to detail.

Whether it was drafting legal documents as a paralegal, arranging

government activities, or managing executive calendars, I’ve
learned the value of staying organized and being thorough. While I
strive for excellence, I also remain open to feedback and continually
look for ways to improve my systems and processes. I believe that
being detail-oriented is not about perfection, but about care,
consistency, and commitment to delivering quality outcomes —
values I uphold in every task I take on.

6. How is your English communication—written and verbal?

With a background in Mass Communication and experience as an ESL tutor and
media host, I possess decent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

I can communicate verbally in English fairly well, especially in professional settings,

but I’m more confident with my written communication. I’ve had more experience
writing reports, correspondence, and legal documents, which has helped me develop
clarity and precision in writing. Still, I’m always working to improve both aspects.

7. Are you available to work during U.S. business hours?

Yes, I am fully available to work U.S. business hours and am flexible with scheduling
as needed.

8. Do you have the required technical setup (laptop, internet)?

Yes, I have a reliable laptop that meets the specifications and a stable internet
connection above 10 Mbps.

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools are software platforms that help businesses manage
and track interactions with their customers. They aim to improve customer relationships by organizing
data, automating processes, and providing insights into customer behavior. Examples of CRM tools
include Salesforce, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
1. About yourself:
I’m a Juris Doctor graduate with a diverse background in legal research, public
administration, and communications. I’ve served in various government roles and
worked as a paralegal, ESL tutor, and media host. My strengths lie in organization,
communication, and legal writing, and I’m passionate about supporting legal teams in
a fast-paced environment.

2. Experience using CRM tools:

While I haven't used a branded CRM tool in a corporate law setting, I’ve handled data
management systems for government offices, including organizing and maintaining
client records, tracking appointments, and managing communications. I learn new
software quickly and am confident I can master any CRM platform your team uses.

I haven’t used standard CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot, but during my time at
RareJob, we used proprietary in-house tools that served similar functions. These tools
allowed us to manage student information, track communication history, and monitor
engagement efficiently. While they were tailored specifically to RareJob’s processes,
they gave me a strong foundation in managing customer relationships and workflows
in a structured system.

3. Experience working remotely:

I have experience working remotely as an ESL tutor at RareJob. In

this role, I had the flexibility to work at my own convenience within
the time slots available. This setup required strong time
management skills, self-discipline, and the ability to maintain a
productive work environment independently. It also helped me
become comfortable using online communication tools and
platforms to interact effectively with students.

4. Why did you apply:

I’m eager to expand my legal career in a dynamic and professional setting, especially
within a U.S. law firm. This role aligns with my legal background, administrative
experience, and interest in international legal systems. I see this as a great opportunity
to grow professionally while making meaningful contributions to your team.

5. Salary Negotiation and Industry rate:

I’m open to discussing compensation and flexible depending on the responsibilities
and growth opportunities. I aim for a fair, industry-aligned rate that reflects my
experience and qualifications while ensuring mutual satisfaction. That being said, I
would like to respectfully propose a starting rate of $8 per hour, subject to your kind
approval.

While I may not have prior full-time experience working online in a

legal setting, I have worked as an ESL tutor with RareJob, where I
conducted online classes with Japanese students. This role gave me
practical experience in remote work, including managing schedules,
using online platforms, and maintaining professionalism in a virtual
environment. Although it's not directly related to your platform, it
has given me a solid understanding of how remote systems operate.

Combined with my legal background and experience in document

drafting, research, and administrative support, I am confident I can
quickly adapt to your workflows and contribute effectively to your
team. I am also very much open to training and am eager to grow
both professionally and personally in this role.

6. What laws are you familiar with:

I’m familiar with criminal, civil, taxation, procedural, administrative, labor, and
contractual law based on my legal studies and paralegal experience. I’ve drafted
various legal documents, including pleadings and contracts, and conducted legal
research for ongoing cases.

7. Relevant working experience:

I worked as a Legal Researcher/Paralegal at BNTB Law Firm, drafting pleadings,
petitions, affidavits, and contracts. My roles in government also involved legal
correspondence and policy implementation. These experiences sharpened my legal
acumen and administrative skills.

8. Why did you leave your previous job:

I resigned from my previous employment to seek new opportunities that align more
closely with my long-term career goals in the legal field. While I gained valuable
experience in public administration and executive support roles, I am now focused on
building a career as a paralegal, where I can apply my legal education and deepen my
expertise in a more specialized and challenging environment. Additionally, I’m
looking for remote opportunities that offer better work-life balance and professional
growth.

9. Do you have a work-from-home setup? Backup internet? Backup power?

Yes, I have a reliable laptop (Core i5, 8GB RAM), high-speed internet (above 10
Mbps), and access to backup mobile data. I also have backup power solutions in place
to ensure minimal disruption during outages. (Powerbanks)

10. When are you available to work:

I’m available to start immediately and can work full-time during U.S. business hours.
