Plan View, Elevation View, Section Views, Sheet Views
8. What is the purpose of the View Range tool?
Control Visibility of the view, (Not fully aware on the extent of usage)
9. What is the difference between project and shared parameters?
Not aware
10. What is the Difference between type and instance parameters?
When type parameters are changed it affects all the instances of the family, instance
parameter changes only one.
11. What is the purpose of global parameters?
Have parameters applied for a particular project.
12. What is the purpose of using design options in Revit Software?
We can have multiple design options in a single project file.
13. What is the difference between parametric and generic families?
The parameters can be changed and are flexible. Generic families are static, and
parameters can’t be altered.
14. What are some of the most crucial skills you have learned as a BIM Architect? (Creating
Design drawings/Schematic drawings/ 3d model etc.)
3D modelling primarily along with sheet preparation.
15. What BIM Dimensions are you experienced with? (4D/5D/6D/7D.)

16. Have you ever worked on the drafting part in Revit?
Yes. Basic Drafting
17. How comfortable are you handling and experienced with different Levels of Details
(LODs)? (Ans-LOD100/LOD200/LOD300/LOD350/LOD400/LOD500…)

18. What kind of drawings can we get from the LOD350 and LOD400 models?
LOD 350 - Detail design and LOD 400 - Fabrication Drawings. Only have basic
understanding.
19. Do you have experience with BIM360/ACC (Autodesk construction cloud)?
Used BIM 360 for our review purposes and storing project data.
20. What do you understand about templates in Revit?
Defines basic framework for the project or family.
21. What is the purpose of work sharing?
Collaborative work. Can have multiple people working on the project simultaneously.
22. How to Use Section Box?
Select the Section box from the ribbon whilst in 3D view and having an element selected.
We can control the depth, height and width of the box depending on the visibility
required.
23. What Is View Depth?
The visibility above or below the cut plane.
24. What is the difference between a model line and a detail line?
Model line is of an element in Revit and detail line is a 2d line used for drafting detail.
25. What is the use of Design options?
We can have multiple design options in a single project file.
