1. What were the three things enphasized in the last verses of Surah Baqarah? How
is that linked to the beginning of Surah Al e Imran?
2. The Hadith mentions Surah Baqarah and Surah Al e Imran together in terms of
benefiting the believer on the Day of Judgment. Why are they mentioned together?
How are these two surahs connected?

What does that teach us about how Allah answers duas?
This is to answer the prayer at the end of Surah Al Baqarah and to strengthen the
hearts of the believers that Allah is the ever living the sustainer so they should not
fear while facing the enemeies and various challenges. They are destined to fight
them so they can come out stronger and deen is established on the earth.
If we ask Allah for something, he might not give that to us directly, rather he would
put us in a situation which would help us attain that particular ability. For example
Allah might not directly remove the fear but He puts us in such situations where we
have no choice but to show courage and hence we learn not to be fearful of the
tests we face in this life

5. Why does Allah mention the Torah and Quran at the start? What's the
connection?
Torah : the first holy book revealed for mankind
Quran : confirms the original torah and

6. What are the two furqans for Bani Israel and what are the two furqans for this
Ummah?
Bani israel:
1. Musa Stone tablet
2. The day of Splitting of red sea by staff of Musa
Our Ummah :
1.Quran.
2.Day of badr
7. What are Muhkum and Muthashabiha verses? Why include them in the Quran?
Muhkum : verses with clear meaning
Muthashabiha : verses with unclear meaning
Reason being included :
Those who have sickness in their heart could be identified. It’s a test for them and
for the muslims to not question the unclear verses, to obey Allah and the Rasool
SAW even if they do not understand it. So they should keep praying to Allah to not
fall into this trap and thereby to not get deviated from the straight path after being
guided.

8. Both Surah Al e Imran and Surah Baqarah talk about muttaqeen, munafiq and
Kaafir. But there's a difference. What is it?
Surah Baqarah : talks more about the munafiqs,
Surah Al imran : talks more about the mutaqeen ( answer to the prayer at the end
of Surah Al Baqarah)

9. Why does Allah specifically mention the Pharoah as an example of a kaafir, right
at the start of the surah, when the Arabs didn't even know much about him?
It was basically to compare the jews with the pharoah and to remind them that
whatever pharoah did to them , they have been doing the exact same thing to the
muslims and just like he transgressed and was struck by the wealth and glory of this
dunya, similarly the jews has also been deeply in love with wealth and power and
using it against the muslims while also denying the message sent by Allah how
pharoh denied it.

consequence they had to face in Medina as a result of the battle?
