Profile of Dr. Graham Mhlakaza
Dr. Graham Mhlakaza is a Chartered Human Resources (HR) Practitioner with experience
spanning over 18 years in international and commercial roles. He is accountable for the
strategic and operational alignment of workforce capability, team performance, and
organizational culture, whilst ensuring that talent management, employee engagement, well-
being, diversity, and inclusion are at the core of organizational development plans. Graham also
leads the delivery of operational support services to the Organization i.e., administration,
infrastructure, facilities management, security, travel, events management, logistics, and
protocol.
Graham holds a PhD in Commerce (Cranefield College, South Africa), Executive MBA, BSc
Hons. HR Management (Midlands State University, Zimbabwe), and professional certifications
in Leadership, HR Development, and Project Management. In addition, Graham is a fellow of
the following professional institutions: the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
(UK), the Australian Human Resources Institute, the International Institute of Directors and
Managers, and the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe. He is also an Associate of the
CEO Institute (ACEOI®).
Before joining ARIPO in May 2014, Graham was the Senior Group HR Officer for Amtec
Motors (Private) Limited and served on its Executive Committee.
