II. Summary
The film General Luna revolves around the life of Antonio Luna, one of the best soldiers
of the philippines in the war against the united states because of his prowess and
perseverance in defending the philippines against the many Americans who are jealous
and angry like fellow generals and soldiers because he seems to be arrogant. The story
begins where there are gatherings and disputes of officials at their cabinet meeting.
These include Emilio Aguinaldo, then president of the Philippines, Apolinario Mabini,
General Mascardo, Buencamino, Padre Paterno and General Antonio Luna. Officials
believe the Americans will be the cause of the lift of the Philippine economy then,
because the officers are even more focused on the welfare of the growth of the
Philippine currency than the people they govern. It is believed that the Americans will be
the cause of the downfall of the Philippines, just like General Luna. As the days passed,
Filipino soldiers went to the camp of the United States but suddenly American soldiers
fired at the Filipino soldiers. In this event, General Luna is already leading the wars
against America due to the order of President Emilio Aguinaldo and continued for a long
time. On an ongoing basis, many Filipinos died and many soldiers also fled because of
horror. Due to such circumstances General Luna ordered the set of Kawit, Cavite of
Filipino soldiers who could join the war but they did not comply. Janolino was the captain
in the ranks of Kawit, Cavite at the behest of General Luna. He did not follow General
Luna's order because he preferred to take a siesta and because it wasn't the order that
came from President Emilio Aguinaldo, General Luna told Captain Janolino he will be put
to death immediately according to article one. He has always used article one because it
states that “Whoever disobeys the order of the Chief General will be removed from rank
and will be executed without trial in a military court. ” One of General Luna's beliefs is
that there is no one who exalts the law. This is why he is called General Article One. He
gathered 4,000 people using Article One. Many are afraid and angry at the power the
Chief General of the war has. The leader of Kawit also complained, Cavite, to President
Emilio Aguinaldo for what General Luna did. When they had a second cabinet meeting,
General Luna ordered Buencamino and Paterno out because they did not agree with the
actions of General Luna and they were also some of the people who believed them. The
United States will help to grow the Philippine economy. Weakened by General Mascardo
is General Luna's campaign because he will only follow the president's orders.
Continued the invading American soldiers. General Luna visited President Aguinaldo
and Mabini chief adviser to president Aguinaldo to file his resignation, even if
buencamino and Paterno have been released. President Aguinaldo refused to accept his
resignation, but he agreed to establish a headquarters for the Philippine army in the
north. At the end of the conversation, General Mascardo is listening to General Luna and
President Aguinaldo in the back of the president's room. President Aguinaldo asked for
their opinion of General Luna, the president found out what General Luna said to the
people in plaza that “No one upholds the law even the president” informed by General
Mascardo because he himself heard what General Luna said. Eventually, General Luna
received a telegram from the president stating that he had been summoned by president
Emilio Aguinaldo of Cabanatuan General Luna. He went to Cabanatuan together with
the intimate commanders Roman and Rusca. When he arrived there, the General
discovered Luna that President Aguinaldo has left and all that is left are Buencamino's
camps only. While they were in the office talking, General Luna heard a gunshot already
happening outside. He quickly investigated and found Captain Janolino and his staff.
General Luna was shot and stabbed repeatedly as if he were slaughtered until deprived
of life. Even the commanders close to the General
Luna was shot and the only one left was Rusco who was wounded until he surrendered
to the hand of the ranks of the soldiers at Kawit. Most of Luna's officers faced arrest,
while some died including the Bernal brothers due to the mistreatment.
of fellow soldiers among them. Despite the first being ordered by Aguinaldo, General
Luna and Roman will be buried with honor by killing the battalion hook where they were
the ones who killed General Luna and his men.

VI. Conclusion
Under the leadership of the Americans in the country many changes and laws were
       passed.
This is what we saw in the movie General Luna and we also studied it.
Antonio Luna's dedication as the country's general is similar. Constructions
he had plans against the Americans that were not approved by Emilio Aguinaldo who
       was the first president of
Philippines. How General Antonio Luna became a brave hero and how he
       proven patriotism.
Choosing the right leader in the country is important because there are already leaders
       or presidents
wholeheartedly as president of the country. Unlike President Aguinaldo who is ready
kill his fellow Filipinos for their own good. A leader who sent the
sweet words and promises of the Americans so that’s how he likes it
       reconcile with the Americans.
When we were completely occupied by the Americans, our government also changed
       completely
country. From the Military Government that helped to make our country well,
       implemented
of the education system for Filipinos and there were the first teachers to come to our
       country and
it was the Thomasites, opened Manila to become the center of international trade, and
to establish local governments in the provinces and towns in our country.
And in time, it became the Civil Government which was given the opportunity
Filipinos participated or joined the government, the farmers had their own land taught
English language and democratic thinking to Filipinos, and give importance to
       health in our country.
Although the leadership of our country changed during the American Era, it was helped
they want us to be more civilized and knowledgeable in all things.
But if we think about it it still seems like a nightmare to conquer our country. Heroes
       died for just
