CODE OF CONDUCT
1. All staff must maintain a professional attitude towards parents. Avoid any sort of personal
   discussion and interaction before or after school hours.
2. All teaching and non-teaching staff are required to direct the parents to the Centre Head /
   Academic Coordinator with regards to any issues /suggestion/ grievance.
3. Any personal discussion, meetings or gatherings should be avoided in school premises.
4. All teaching and non-teaching staff are required to read and understand their session
   content, discuss & clarify the doubts with their Centre Head/Academic Coordinator prior to
   the start of the session. Any changes/modifications required should be formalized in
   advance before the commencement of the session.
5. All teaching and non-teaching staff must consult the Centre Head well in advance for any
   equipment that may have to be arranged for, from outside. All teaching staff must ensure
   that any equipment that is essential for the smooth functioning of their job is ordered well
   in advance to ensure no disruptions take place.
6. The mode of instruction in the School is English; hence all teaching staff are required to
   communicate in English at all times.
7. Discipline in each preschool is a necessity but the methodology used should not involve any
   kind of abuse physical/mental. The students should be handled with care and responsibility.
8. The environment & the culture prevalent in the school are multi-ethnic and broad based. All
   teaching staff are required to display an unbiased disposition. All teaching staff shall not
   propagate through teaching or otherwise, communal or sectarian outlook or incite or
   discriminate on ground of castes, creed, language, place of origin, and social/ economic
   background.
9. All teaching and non-teaching staff are also not to practice or incite any student to practice
   casteism, communalism &/ untouchability &/ singling out of any child with regards to
   physical &/ mental ability &/ any personal issue.
10. All teaching and non-teaching staff will protect and maintain all property of the school. They
   are not to cause any damage to the property of the school either movable or immovable.
    11. In case of any change in any teaching staff’s contact address &/ phone number &/ name
        during the course of your employment with the school, it shall be their duty to intimate the
        same in writing to the management within one week from the date of such change.
    12. All teaching and non-teaching staff shall forward to their Centre Head, their contact address
        & phone number during vacation before the commencement of the same or any long leave.
    13. All teaching and non-teaching staff’s appearance within the school premises has to be
        presentable, neat and tidy. Their attire has to be clean, comfortable and functional. The
        activities with students involve extensive physical movements, hence clothes need to be
        decent and appropriate.
    14. Their constant supervision, is required during the student’s involvement in water play, sand
        play, outdoor play & / any other curriculum related activity.
    15. No staff should bring their children to school on any working day or for any function, picnic
        or party meant for staff only.
    16. No staff will show any physical affection towards any student.
    17. Staff will refrain from giving pet names to students.
    18. The cell phone must be on silent mode once in the school premises. Any loss of personal cell
        phone is not the school’s responsibility.
    19. Personal phone number will not be given out to the parents.
    20. Any communication to the parents to be done via Centre Head only.
Dress Code
       All teaching and non-teaching are expected to be attired properly while on duty.
       All staff members must dress conservatively. Short hemlines, deep neck tops, skin tight
        dresses, short length tops are strictly not permitted.
