Active Voice: The subject acts upon the object by verb. The sentence begins with a subject of an
action and the object is at the end.
e.g. Some girls are helping the wounded women.
Passive voice: The object acts upon the subject by the verb. The sentence begins with the object and
the subject is at the end.
e.g. The wounded woman is being helped by some girls.
Some general rules for changing the sentences:
1. The subject becomes the object and the object becomes subject.
2. Always use the past participle form of the verb.
3. The preposition ‘by’ is used in order to make the passive voice.
4. The personal pronouns undergo the following changes

1) The simple present tense: A.V = sub+ v1+ obj + other words
P.V = Obj + am/is/are + V3 + by + other words
2) The simple past tense: A.V. = sub + v2+ obj + other words
P.V = Obj + was/were + v3 + by + other words
3) The simple future tense: A.V = Sub + shall/will + V1 + obj + other words
P.V = obj+ shall be/will be+ v3+ by+ sub+ other words
4) Present continuous tense: A.V. = Sub + am/is /are + v1 + ing+ obj + other word
P.V = obj + am/is/are+ being+ v3+ by+ sub+ other words
5) Past Continuous tense: A.V = Sub + was/were + v1+ing+ obj + other words
P.V = Obj + was/were + being + v3 + by + sub + other words

=>Command or request: A.V = Sub + Verb + object+ other words
P.V = Let + sub + be + V3 + by + obj + other words.
=> Modal Auxiliary: A.V. = sub + modal auxiliary + v1 + obj+ other words
P.V. = obj + modals+ be + v3 + by + obj + other words

Make passive.
