Mahisasur was a nasty demon who was causing a lot of trouble.

He had the head of a

buffalo, and he was heaving a broad shoulder with a muscular body having a great 6
pack abs and strong legs, making him look the greatest demon of all time. He defeated
the entire world and even drove the gods from heaven. The gods were terrified and
depressed. They had no idea what to do. He was also granted a wish by lord brahma that
no male god could kill him.

Therefore, Goddess Laxmi, an incarnation, was created by combining the abilities of all
the gods. She went by Durga. She was a fierce fighter. Each of her many arms had a
unique weapon granted upon her by the gods. She was sitting on a large, strong lion that
roared as loudly as thunder.

When Mahisasur saw a Goddess, a feminine energy, in front of him, he laughed. He was
bloated with his power and blinded with his arrogance. He did not understand that she
was the one who was a combination of strengths gained by different Gods. As he
approached her with his strength, she held him and all the demons he was backed from.
Durga and Mahisasur fought for twelve days. Mahisasur changed shapes to trick
her—first a buffalo, then a lion, and finally a warrior. But Durga was very strong and
smart.
On the last day, he became a huge buffalo. Durga stood firm and used her trident to
defeat him. She won the battle!

Everyone celebrated Durga’s victory. Her story became a symbol of strength and hope
for everyone. Good had triumphed over evil!
Ultimately, Durga attacked the buffalo form with her spear. The demon shrieked loudly.
However, a fresh demon, a man shaking a sword, appeared from the buffalo's body as it
fell. This was who Mahisasur truly was. He was enraged and prepared to fight once more.
Durga gave him an angry look. She lifted her spear into the air, prepared to attack and put
an end to the conflict once and for all. From that day, all the gods and humans were very
happy and lived a life very happiness and joy
