5Ca Package Conveyor

Sec 1 Adjustment Standard


1-1 Belt Tension
The belt tension ratio should be between 0.6% and
0.8%.
500 mm (standard)
Refer to the tension marks provided as shown in the
diagram on the right. Measure the appropriate length
with a tape measure and tighten.

The standard length (inside dimension) between the


tension marks is 500 mm.
Ex:
If the length between the tension marks is 503 mm
after tightening,
the tension ratio is 0.6% [(503 - 500) / 500 × 100]. Tension mark

1. Loosen the lock nut.


2. Adjust the tension by rotating the head of the
tension bolt with a wrench (17 mm).

Belt Attachment
Attach the belt as shown in the diagram on the right,
and adjust the tension so that it is between 0.6% and
0.8 %.

1-2 Adjusting the Belt Alignment

Motor Side
Adjust the alignment by screwing in or unscrewing the
bolts on the right and left sides.

1. Loosen the fixing bolts (both sides) for the


motor.
2. Align the belt by screwing in or unscrewing the
adjustment bolts.

Adjust the alignment by screwing in or unscrewing the


adjustment bolt.

1. Loosen the fixing bolts (one side only) for the


return pulley.
2. Align the belt by screwing in or unscrewing the
adjustment bolts.

1-3 Package Shutter


Stop the machine, ensure that there is no air inside the package shutter, and adjust.
Fully extend the package shutter, and adjust the package shutter so that the difference in height between the
shutter and the conveyor guide is 0 to - 3 mm.

The package cannot transfer if the


package shutter is higher than the
conveyor guide, so ensure that the height
difference is between 0 and - 3 mm

1-4 VOS Settings
The VOS settings are listed below. Change the setting conditions when necessary.

Package Conveyor Drive Select "Manual" or "Auto"


Package Conveyor Mode Select "Standard" or "PackageCheck"
Package Conveyor Alarm Set the required time
Package C/V Auto Start Set the required time for auto drive
Pkg C/V Flow Direction Select the flow direction
Package Shutter (Span) Set the group(s) when equipped with a shutter
