1)
The preview/full image transmission time depends on the quality of the WiFi link and the selected processing parameters
Clinical workflow
Examination preparation
Workflow Prior to acquisition, the patient data is entered via the patient management
system (HIS/RIS) or at the control console
The exposure parameters are selected via the organ programs
Then the patient and X-ray unit are positioned and the exposure is released
The exposure released at the central system control is read by the detector
within a few seconds
The image is shown on the control display for orientation and is available
at the imaging system output for sending in DICOM format, e.g. to reporting
workstations, imaging networks, laser cameras, etc.
Clinical Assurance Program (CAP): Collection of deleted images, studies and
patient data including evaluation options
Key-protected by either standard key or PIN code (system option)
* Option 9
Clinical workflow
Image acquisition/display/processing
Acquisition and preprocessing Selection and configuration of organ programs
Selection of generator and postprocessing parameters
Parameterization of image preprocessing Gain, harmonization, edge enhancement and look-up tables (LUT)
Display of the current exposure within 3 seconds (preview); complete
image in 10 seconds max.
Display of image labels (L/R, a.-p./p.-a.)
DiamondViewPlus multi-scale technique for image postprocessing with
higher detail contrast and reduced noise
Startup time < 60 s
DiamondView is a multi-scale technique, i.e. filter size and strength are weighted differently and serve for adaptation to
the total image content
DiamondView Enhances the signal exploitation of the dynamic range and improves the
organ-specific detail contrast (soft tissue and bone)
Image processing functions Rotation
Vertical and horizontal image flip
Zoom
Windowing for contrast/brightness
Black/white image inversion
