IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATION FOR DIFFERENT

CONTESTED ACTIVITIES AND PAGEANTS

PAg-awit: Tagisan ng mga Tinig

 Each Section must have at least 1 representative. The


participant may choose any genre.
 Each participant should submit their minus one music one day
before the competition proper.
 The performance duration will be a minimum of 3 minutes and a
maximum of 5 minutes.
 Songs containing profanity are NOT permitted and may result in
immediate disqualification.
 In case of a tie, a “sing-off” will be held. Participants involved in
the tie will be given 10 minutes to select another song.
 The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
 Participants will be judged according to the following criteria:

Voice Quality and Tonality: 30%


Control and Technique: 30%
Interpretation and Expression: 20%
Stage Presence and Audience Impact: 20%
Total: 100%

Battle of Wits: A Debate Competition

 Each section must have its own representative.


 Each representative must possess unique talent, wit,
confidence, and humorous character.
 Each participant must prepare himself/herself for an informal
debate regarding current events in the Philippines.
 Debaters:
1-1vs 1-2
2-1 vs 2-2
2-2 vs 3-1
4-1 vs 4-2

 Before the debate starts debaters will have a toss coin and
whoever wins has a chance to choose his side.
 Participants will have five minutes to consider the issue after it is
presented.
 Each participant will speak at least 1 minute and a maximum of
2 minutes in the following format.
P1: Introduction, argument
P2: Introduction, argument
P1: rebuttal, conclusion
P2: rebuttal, conclusion
 The winner 1 will compete with winner 2 while the winner 3 will
compete with winner 4. Whoever wins will advance to the final
round.
 The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
 Participants will be judged according to the following criteria:

Evidence and reasoning: 50%


Confidence: 20%
Rebuttals and Arguments: 20%
Deportment: 10%
Total: 100%

Lakbay-Tinig: A Spoken Word Poetry Competition

 Each section must have at least one (1) representative.


 The spoken word poetry piece must be an original composition. It
could be written in Filipino or in English but not in Taglish.
 The piece must be related to the theme “BPAnians:United in
Service, Showcasing True Excellence” and must not contain any
malicious and offensive content.
 Each contestant is given 3-5 minutes to perform his/her piece.
 Sounds, instrumental or music background is allowed to
complement the delivery and it must be submitted to the technical
team. No deduction shall be made if the contestant option not to
have a musical background.
 The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
 The representative will be judged according to the following criteria:

Message/Content: 30%
Delivery and Performance: 20%
Originality: 20%
Relevance to the Theme: 20%
Overall Impression: 10%
Total: 100%

PAsiklaban Dance Competition

 Each section must have at least four (4) to eight (8) members,
who may be composed of all male, female and LGBTQIA or a
combination of both.
 Each section will perform to any dance music with a duration of
not less than three (3) minutes and not more than five (5)
minutes. One point deduction shall be deducted for every
exceeding minute.
 The dance number must accompany modern and lively music.
 The competition music must not contain inappropriate levels or
any offensive language.
 Each group can use props and other appropriate materials in
their dance except fire or any breakable items.
 The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
 The representatives will be judged according to the following
criteria:

Choreography and Execution: 40%


Mastery, Timing and Coordination: 30%
Musicality: 20%
Overall impression: 10%
Total: 100%

Transi-Tok Challenge

 Each section must submit a TikTok transition challenge a day


before the event.
 The TikTok music can be "Piliin mo ang Pilinas" or "Kapangyarihan
by Ben & Ben" or any music that suits the content of the video
depicting public servants, politicians, and current issues or culture
in the Philippines.
 There must be one person doing makeup transition or portraying
the content of the video.
 Ensure that the video is aligned with theme “BPAnians:United in
Service, Showcasing True Excellence” The maximum length of
the video is two minutes only. Videos that exceed the time will be
subject to a deduction of 2 points.
 The entry video will be judge according to the following criteria:

Concept and Message: 30%


Creativity and Originality: 20%
Relevance to the Theme: 20%
Smoothness of Transition and Effect: 20%
Visual Impact: 10%
Total: 100%

Search for Bb. Lingkod Gay-yarn

 Each section must have one (1) representative who are part of
the LGBTQIA+ community.
 For the Production Number, all candidates shall wear their best
masquerade party outfit.
 For the Casual Wear, all candidates shall wear there prefer
casual wear attire.
 For advocacy, all candidates will prepare a one-minute advocacy
speech aligned with the 17 SDGs.
 For Evening Gown, all candidates shall wear there prefer evening
gown attire.
 For the Question & Answer Portion
- The ability to answer questions will be based on the depth,
meaning, and substance of the answers given by the
candidates.
- The candidate may respond to the question either in English
or Filipino.
- For preliminary questions, the “DIBA TEH” from showtime is
the concept. Two candidates will defend the word given to
them and they can align it with the current issues or the
SDGs.
- Each candidate will be given 40 seconds to defend their
answer.
 Candidate A will speak first and will have 20
seconds to give her answer.
 Immediately after, Candidate B will have 20
seconds to defend her own answer.
 This exchange will happen twice, giving each
candidate a total of 40 seconds.
 This preliminary Q&A will determine who will
advance to Top3 for final round.
 For the Final question, three (3) questions will be
prepared for the top three candidates. A limit of
sixty (60) seconds will be given per candidate to
answer the question.
 The determination of winners will be based on the ranking
system. In cases where a tie occurs, deliberation between the
members of the board of judges will be done to break the tie.
 The candidate will be judged according to the following criteria:

A. Preliminary Round
Production Number: 15%
Casual Wear: 15%
Advocacy: 20%
Evening Gown: 20%
Ability to Answer Question: 30%
Total: 100%

B. Final Round (Top3)

Ability to Answer the Final Question: 50%


Preliminary Round Score: 50%
Total: 100%

 The candidate garnered highest combined score will be crowned


as

Bb. Lingkod Gay-yarn 2nd Runner Up
 The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.
Search for Mr. and Ms. PAS 2025

 Each section must have one (1) male representative and for
male and one (1) female representative.
 For Production Number, a female and male candidates will wear
the rented suit for production number.
 For the Casual Wear, all candidates shall wear there prefer
casual wear attire.
 For advocacy, all candidates will prepare a one-minute advocacy
speech aligned with the 17 SDGs.
 For Evening Gown, all candidates shall wear there prefer evening
gown attire.
 For the Question and Answer Portion
- The ability to answer questions will be based on the depth,
meaning, and substance of the answers given by the
candidates.
- The candidate may respond to the question either in English
or Filipino.
- Preliminary questions will be structured as hashtags word in
which the “WORD” will be associated with current social
issues. A limit of forty-five (45) seconds will be given per
candidate.
- For the Final question, three (3) questions will be prepared
for the top three candidates. A limit of sixty (60) seconds will
be given per candidate.
- This preliminary Q&A will determine who will advance to
Top3 for final round.

 The determination of winners will be based on the ranking


system. In cases where a tie occurs, deliberation between the
members of the board of judges will be done to break the tie.
