WING ACCESS PANELS
1. General
A. Description
Access panels are provided in exterior and interior surfaces to facilitate servicing, inspection and
maintenance of aircraft systems and components.
Access panels are attached to aircraft structure with fasteners. With fasteners removed, panels
completely detach from structure to allow access to system components and internal structure.
B. Left Wing
There are 59 access panels, covers and doors in this section. The left wing includes leading edge
access panels, slat access panels, fuel cell access panels, trailing edge access panels, aileron
access panels and winglet access panel. See Figure 1.
