HOSPITAL PHARMACY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS

I.OBJECTIVES

At the end of the project, the student should be able to;

1. differentiate the hospital distribution systems for in-patient and out-patient


2. prepare a step-by-step procedure for the distribution/dispensing of
controlled substances in the hospital
3. prepare a diagram to illustrate the work flow in a specific drug distribution
system
4. create an innovation on the usual drug distribution system that will promote
adherence and prevent medication error incidents

II. ACTIVITIES
1. Hospital drug distribution system (8 hrs)
