UPSC EPFO Exams: EO/AO vs APFC

Eligibility
EO/AO: Max age 30 years, Graduation in any subject.

Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 yrs, OBC – 3 yrs, PwD – 10 yrs, Govt
Employees/Ex-Servicemen – as per rules.

Exam Pattern (Both EO/AO & APFC)


- Stage 1: Recruitment Test (RT) – 2 hours, 120 MCQs, 300 marks, negative marking
(1/3).
- Stage 2: Interview – 100 marks.
- Final Merit = Written (300) + Interview (100).

- Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & Mental Ability
- Principles of Accountancy, Auditing, Insurance

Note: APFC exam requires deeper understanding in Labour Laws, Administration and
Policy related areas.
