No 1: Describe your shopping habit.

I love shopping online. The reason for it is that I prefer to stay at home and order the
goods rather than going to the store. My favorite site for online shopping, which is
Shopee. I used to buy a lot of things on it because this website supplies affordable
products. As we can see, the advantage of online shopping is that people can easily buy
their favorite items at a reasonable price, and save time as well. On the other hand, there
are some downsides of online shopping, which are unstable quality and high risk.
However, in my opinion, the habit of online shopping is not really harmful. Because you
will have a wide choice of prices, styles, models, as well as many offers from online
stores, this will save you money and time... just be careful and careful product selection.
Moreover, in today's 4.0 technology era, the use of the internet is more and more popular,

My favorite brand that I want to mention is Chanel.House of Chanel was founded
from 1909 to 1910 by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel in 1909 in France. In 1913, Gabrielle
Chanel opened a small fashion boutique and started her own business. With her
creativity, Gabrielle Chanel soon achieved much success. The birth of the Channel brand
has come a long way. But Chanel's products all over the world are bags, hats and
perfumes, all of which give women more confident luxury. The reason I like Chanel is
because their products are really gorgeous and unique. It is known that every single
product of them is made meticulously by the hand of Chanel’sartificers. In other words,

the internet. Anyway, I chose Shopee because the prices on its website were 20-30%

No 5: Talk about changes in shopping trends in Vietnam

In my opinion, Vietnamese people's shopping trends have changed remarkably. In
the past, Vietnamese used to shop at markets and grocery stores. Currently, most of them
don't have to get up early to buy food for each day, instead, they buy food by online
websites for the whole week. Necessary household items such as clothes, washing
powder, dishwashing liquid, and others are also able to be purchased on websites. If in
the past we had to hold cash when buying and selling, today people tend to pay online to
save time and receive many. In my opinion, changes in shopping trends are beneficial.
People are getting busy like bees, so online shopping will help them save time to do more
tasks. In the end, shopping online contains numerous choices in terms of price, quality of
the products, which means you will get more incentives and be economical. That is why I

Now, I’m talking about things I used to do when I was 10. It was a wonderful time

painting, reading stories, and hanging out with my neighbors. We play hide and seek and
other broadcast games because at that time we did not know about smartphones.Hobby of
mine is reading stories. I love reading Doraemon stories because the drawings are
beautiful, the story is adventurous (ật ven trơ rớt), mysterious and fascinating. But now
those things are gone, because when people grow up, they become busier, like study,
work and family. I no longer have time to go around with my neighbors as well as
painting houses or animals, I also don't like reading stories anymore, instead, I spend

years old is the best time, if possible I would love to go back to that time.

No 6: Describe an accident you saw.

Last week, I saw an accident by chance because it happens not so far from my home.
It was a boy crossing the street(strits) after school time. It was a crowded street with
numerous (nu mơ rớt) transportations. I am one of those traffic participants., at that time,
I was waiting at the red light. Then, the boy ran (roen) across the road very quickly
without observing the surrounding cars, did not observe the red signal, so he collided (cơ
lai đựt) with a car on the road. Fortunately, the car stopped in time, it was a minor(mai
nờ) collision (cơ li sừn) and the boy only suffered injuries (in zu rys) to his arms and
legs. I was also stupefied ( stu pơ fai) when I witnessed ( wits nịt) that accident, and my

at the right time. The boy may have died or may have suffered serious injuries such as

carefully. Wearing helmets and seat belts is also very important.
5. Do you think talking on cell phone can cause traffic accidents?

sudden dangers.

awake, can speak a few sentences (sen từn sit) but is half paralyzed (pe rơ lai). The
patient (pây sừn) is still on a ventilator (ven tờ lây đờ) and heart (hát) medication. In my

No 10: Talk about a magician that you know

Well, the magician I admire is David Blaine. He was born in Brooklyn, New York
and started doing magic at the age of four. I knew David Blaine's after reading an article
about him in the book face2face. He became well known after he created a TV show
called David Blaine: Street Magic. Since then he has done a number of spectacury stunts
that were shown live on TV. First, he was frozen inside a six-ton block of ice in New
York's Time Square. When he was released from the ice he couldn't walk.Another one is
that he stood on a 25 meter pillar for 35 hours - again without food or water. David's
talent and bravery truly impressed me a lot and made me become his fan. If possible, I
really want to come to his reality show and contemplate his performance closely.
1. Have you ever seen a magician on stage/ on TV?
Yes, I have. I watched David Copperfield perform on TV, and his tricks were amazing. I
also saw a local magician at a festival last year who did card tricks and made things
disappear.
2. Can you name some famous magicians that you know?

are both very famous for their amazing magic tricks.

watching magic shows and puppet shows. These arts entertain people and show different
cultures and stories.

Yes, it is. Because a magician needs to practice a lot, for example, Houdini spent 10
hours a day practicing his magic trick of escaping from a water tank.

I don’t think so. They need a lot of practice and talent to perform well. Also, they have to
work hard to find shows and build a good reputation.
6. What are the dangers of working as a magician?
It can be dangerous if they use fire, knives, or do escape tricks, because they might get
hurt. David spent two weeks in hospital after being frozen in a six-ton block of ice for
over 61 hours.

WRITING TEST
1. Bigs shopping centers are better than streets shops.
We often do shopping. However, some people like better do shopping in big
shopping centers, and other people prefer streets of shops. My own view on the matter is,
shopping centers are better than streets of shops, and I have a few agruments.
Firstly, big shopping centers are more convenient. Everything is in one place, from
clothes and electronics to food and entertainment. This saves me a lot of time because I
don’t have to walk from one street to another to find what I need.
Secondly, shopping centers offer better facilities. For example, they have air
conditioning, clean restrooms, and food courts where I can rest and eat. These things
make shopping more comfortable and enjoyable, especially on hot or rainy days.
Finally, big shopping centers are usually safer. They have security guards and
cameras, so I feel more secure when carrying money or shopping at night.
In my opinion, street shops may have some charm or lower prices. However, I
personally believe big shopping centers are much more convenient, comfortable, and
safe. That’s why I prefer them.

2. Everyone should have a credit card

I started using credit cards a year ago. I was a little worried about the level of
security, but after using it I'm really addicted to using credit cards and I think everyone
should have a credit card.
My first point is that credit cards are more convenient for paying large money,
instead of carrying a lot of money in your wallet. Credit card can carry a large of money,
you can pay for everything.
Secondly, credit cards are made of plastic or metal so it's hard to break while money
is easy to torned because it's made of paper.
Finally, a credit card can prove you're the owner of your money because your name
is printed on the credit card and you are the one who know the password
I personally believe credit cards are very convenient and safe to use. Although I still
use cash sometimes, credit cards have become my main way to pay because they make
shopping easier and more secure.

3. Children should save some of their pocket money every week

Today, personal financial management is an important skill that everyone must have.
So,from a young age, parents need to train their children to have that skill and I think it is
an idea to teach children to save some of their pocket money every week.
Firstly, saving teaches children how to manage money. When they learn to set aside
a part of their pocket money, they understand that money is limited and must be used
wisely.
Secondly, saving helps children reach their goals. For example, if they want to buy a
toy or a book, they can feel proud when they finally buy it with their own savings. This
also teaches them patience and responsibility.
Finally, saving money can prepare children for the future. Life is full of unexpected
situations, and knowing how to save early will help them become more financially secure
as adults.
I personally believe saving a part of their pocket money teaches children how to
manage their finances, be patient, and take responsibility for their goals. It also prepares
them for the future by helping them build good habits early on.

4. Children should have lessons about spending and saving money at school
Today, personal financial management is an important skill that everyone must have,
so from an early age, it is necessary to train children in that skill and I think it is a good
idea if children have lessons about spending and saving money at school
Firstly, many children grow up without understanding how to manage money. If
schools teach them basic financial skills, they will be better prepared to handle their own
finances when they become adults.
Secondly, these lessons can help children avoid debt and bad spending habits later in
life. For example, if they learn how to budget, they will be more careful with their money
and avoid buying things they don’t really need.
Finally, teaching money skills at school helps children become more independent
and responsible. They learn the value of money and how to save for their goals instead of
always relying on their parents.
I personally believe schools should include money management lessons in their
curriculum as it provides children with an important life skill. Financial literacy helps
them make smart choices, get ready for independence, and become responsible adults.

5. Brand name: yes or no

Buying brand name products is a popular choice for many people, even though they
usually cost more. This is because these products often provide better quality and more
benefits over time.
Firstly, brand name products are usually more reliable. Well-known brands often
invest in good materials and testing, so their products last longer and work better.
Secondly, many brand name items come with warranties or customer service. For
example, if something goes wrong, you can return it or get it repaired more easily than
with cheap, unknown brands.
Finally, using trusted brands can give people more confidence. For instance, wearing
brand name clothes or using a good phone might make someone feel more comfortable
and proud in social situations.
I personally believe that brand name products are worth buying because they offer
better quality, better service, and greater satisfaction, which makes them worth the extra
money. Besides, they can boost people’s confidence and satisfaction when using them.

6. Being love in high school years

Nowadays, falling in love early is very popular, especially among high school
students. Many people think that teenagers should fall in love during their high school
years but I don't think that's a good idea.
Firstly, high school students should focus on their studies. Being in love can be
distracting, and many students lose motivation or spend too much time thinking about
their relationship instead of their schoolwork.
Secondly, most high school relationships don’t last long. When the relationship
ends, students may feel sad, stressed, or even depressed, which affects their mental health
and academic performance.
Finally, many teenagers are not mature enough to handle serious emotions. They
may become jealous, argue often, or feel pressure to act in ways they’re not ready for.
I personally believe students should wait until they are older and more mature before
getting into a romantic relationship. So they can focus on personal growth and education
during high school.
7. Online dating has become the trend amongst adults
With modern life becoming busier and more digital, many adults are now turning to
online dating to find relationships. This new way of meeting people is becoming more
popular because it’s convenient and fits today’s fast-paced lifestyle.
Firstly, online dating is convenient. Adults can meet new people without spending
time going to events or social places. They can chat anytime and anywhere through their
phones.
Secondly, it offers more choices. Online dating allows users to meet people outside
their social circles, increasing their chances of finding a suitable partner.
Finally, it’s more common and accepted than before. Many couples today meet
through dating apps or websites, and society is becoming more open to this modern way
of finding love.
I personally believe that online dating is a growing trend because it matches the fast,
digital lifestyle of today’s adults. It’s an easy and modern way for adults to connect and
build relationships, especially when life gets too busy for traditional dating.

8. Students should have a part - time job

Nowadays, students don’t just need knowledge from university lectures, but also
real-life experience. Having a part-time job is a good way to learn life skills and get ready
for the future.
Firstly, part-time jobs teach students how to manage their time. When they have to
balance work and school, they learn to be more organized and focused.
Secondly, having a job gives students real-life experience. They learn useful skills
such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, which will help them in the
future.
Finally, earning money helps students become more independent. They can pay for
their own needs, reduce the financial pressure on their parents, and also learn the value of
money.
I personally believe that having a part-time job helps students learn how to manage
their time, improve their skills, and become more independent. Even though it can be
tiring, the experience is very valuable for life after school.

9. Higher education should be free for everyone

The current higher education system often favors financial means over academic
ability, creating unfair disadvantages. Offering free higher education to all can unlock a
nation’s potential and help individuals achieve their best.
Firstly, free education gives everyone an equal chance. Many talented students
cannot afford university fees, even though they have the ability to succeed. If education is
free, more people will be able to reach their full potential.
Secondly, a better-educated population helps the country grow. When more people
go to university, the country has more skilled workers, which helps the economy and
improves the quality of life.
Finally, free education can reduce student debt. Many young people start their adult
life with large loans, which causes stress and financial problems for many years.
I personally believe that higher education should be free so that everyone has the
same opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to society. Removing tuition fees is an
important step toward building a more educated, empowered, and prosperous population.

10. School holidays are too long

Some people think school holidays are too long, but I disagree. Long holidays are
important because they give students a needed break, time to rest, develop, and enjoy
quality moments with their families.
Firstly, the school year is very busy and stressful. Students have to study many
subjects, do homework, and take exams. Long holidays give them time to relax and
reduce pressure after months of hard work.
Secondly, holidays help students grow in other ways. They can travel, join summer
camps, or spend time doing activities they enjoy. This helps them develop life skills, not
just academic knowledge.
Finally, holidays give families a chance to be together. Many parents take time off
work during school breaks to go on trips or simply enjoy quality time with their children.
I personally believe that school holidays are not too long. Students deserve enough
time to relax, explore new experiences, and connect with their families. These breaks are
essential for their overall well-being and development beyond the classroom.

11. Sports should be taught at school

Adding sports to the school curriculum is key to a balanced education. Physical
education boosts students’ health and helps them build personal and social skills valuable
in and out of school.
Firstly, doing sports helps students stay fit and strong. Regular physical activity can
prevent health problems like obesity and heart disease. It also helps students feel more
energetic and focused in class.
Secondly, sports teach teamwork and discipline. When students play in teams, they
learn how to cooperate, follow rules, and respect others. These are useful skills that they
can use in everyday life.
Finally, sports are a great way to reduce stress. School can be stressful with
homework and exams, and playing sports gives students a chance to relax and have fun
with their friends.
I personally believe that teaching sports at school is necessary because it helps
students build discipline, teamwork, and resilience while also giving them a healthy
outlet to manage stress. These advantages contribute to a more balanced and effective
learning environment.
