SEC. A (Studio Technology) SCENARIO
1. Asti, a resident of Kemora Village, has always been attracted by the type of Art in fig. A
below. One day, he decided to learn the process of creating these products to start a small
business in his community. He visited a local workshop, where an experienced artist has no time
to guide him through the process and Asti was much willing to learn and practice this type of art
but he did not get anyone to help him. Fig. A

TASK: As a student of art and design knowledgeable about the art work in fig A above, make a
write up that will help Asti. (40 Scores)
2. Use the knowledge u gain from art and design and explain the following as in art.
Define the following terms. a, clay b, fabric decoration, c, collage, d, elements of art, e, tie

Scenario

1. You are an Art Historian visiting a museum exhibit on West African art. As you walk
through the gallery, you notice a variety of artworks in fig. D including Benin Bronzes,
Yoruba masks, and Dogon sculptures. Each piece tells a unique story about the society
from which it originated.

Scenario
2. Your father loves art and one day he visited an exhibition on Renaissance masterpieces in
Fig. C by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael. As he observed The Last
Supper, Creation of Adam, and The School of Athens, art works, he failed to understand
as to why such artworks are unique.
