CALL OF DUTY TOURNAMENT

DATE: APRIL 21 - 25
TIME: 6:00 PM ONWARDS
PARTICIPANTS: Selected CEAT CapSU Main Students

OBJECTIVES:
● Encourage students to work together, build strategies, and foster teamwork, which are
essential skills in both gaming and professional life.
● Highlight the integration of technology and gaming as part of modern-day innovation,
aligning with the theme of Techno Week.
● Provide an opportunity for students to bond, network, and engage with one another in a
fun and competitive environment.

The College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT) Week is a celebration


of innovation, camaraderie, and the vibrant spirit of students dedicated to technological
advancement and creative design. This year, the event takes an exciting turn with the much
anticipated Call of Duty Tournament, a thrilling showcase of strategic prowess, teamwork, and
gaming expertise. The tournament is more than just a competition; it is a platform that highlights
the intersection of entertainment and technology, echoing the core values of CEAT. Students will
engage in intense virtual battles, leveraging their quick thinking, tactical skills, and collaboration
to emerge victorious. This activity not only provides an adrenaline-filled experience but also
demonstrates how gaming fosters essential real-world competencies such as communication,
critical thinking, and decision-making.

Call of Duty (BR Mode): Mobile Tournament Guidelines

1. Eligibility:

* Open to all students currently enrolled in Capiz State University.

* Each course may field two to five (2 to 5) teams.

* Each team must consist of five (5) active players.

2. Registration:

* Teams must register with the organizer before the second week of

February. * Registration form must include:

* Team Name

* Course

* Player Names and In-Game Names


* Team Captain's Contact Information

3. Tournament Format:
* Group Stage:
* Teams will be divided into groups based on course.
* Teams will compete with each other until the last team remains.
* This would be a one game only, and will be a point system match.
* The team with the highest accumulated points wins.
4. Game Rules:
* All matches will be played on Call of Duty: Mobile.
* The latest official version of the game must be used.
5. Match Schedule:
* The tournament schedule will be released [Number] days before the start of the tournament.
* Teams must adhere to the scheduled match times.
* Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the match.
6. Fair Play and Sportsmanship:
* All participants must exhibit good sportsmanship.
* Toxic behavior, harassment, or any form of disrespect will not be tolerated.
* Any violation of these rules may result in penalties, including disqualification.
7. Prizes:
* The winning team will receive [Certificate].
* The runner-up team will receive [Certificate].
8. Organizer's Decision:
* The organizer's decision on all matters related to the tournament is final.
* The organizer reserves the right to modify these rules at any time.
By participating in this tournament, all teams agree to abide by these rules and regulations.
