First of all, let me introduce myself. I am Ross Andrew T.

Soriano, born on March 5, 2010,

and now I am 13 years old.

Ever since I was young, I've experienced alot of events that have shaped my life – from
sadness to anger, from joy to many others. I used to contemplate what was best for me and
what I wanted to do, especially when I was alone at home without my family around. I vividly
remember those moments, especially the mornings when it rained and I savored hot soup.

During grades 1 to 3, I wasn't very interested in studying; I just wanted to have fun. I was
surprised when I topped in math once because I didn't study much. In grades 4-5, I
completely lost interest in being an honor student or topping the class; just attending classes
was enough for me. But when I reached grade 6, I started to improve because it was nearing
the end of elementary school, and I began to mature.

At 11 years old, when I entered high school, I met students who were consistently achieving
honors, and they became my inspiration. Initially, I didn't pay much attention to them
because I thought I couldn't do what they were doing. However, I befriended them and
realized they were kind-hearted despite their intelligence. They became even more inspiring
to me, and I became more interested in studying. I became close to them, and they became
my moral compass, guiding me on the right path. Meeting them changed my life, and I
became more diligent in my studies.

Now, we are always happy when we are together, always helping each other and not pulling
each other down. We are true to each other, non-toxic, and not backstabbers. Though we
may not be many, I am happy to have met them because through them, I experienced what
it truly means to have real friends.
