Re.: Subsequent installation of the new guide strap blowers
91/93.014.800/K 09 and of the modified guide plates in
the delivery of SPEEDMASTER presses
As you know, printing industry has increasingly high demands on
our presses, even if papers of minor quality are used. In order
to meet these requirements, we have made a modification in the
delivery as of November 1981. As shown in ill. 1, we have re-
placed the blower tube 91/93.014.506 S at the sheet ascent by
guide strap blowers 91/93.014.800/K 09, and have modified the
sheet guide plates.
This facility was incorporated as standard in the individual
presses as of the following serial numbers:

Older presses equipped with the conventional guide plate or guide
strap version can be updated subsequently. This requires the
following parts:
A- The standard equipment of guide strap blowers 91/93.014.800/K 09
valid for all SPEEDMASTER types.
B- Additionally those individual parts as required depending on
the different press types and versions. Please refer to the
combinations of the different versions listed under point 1.
to 8. for the correct selection of parts.

Hints for the modification and adjustment of the new parts
The parts should be fitted as shown in ill. 1.
The following points must be observed:
After the guide plate or guide straps @ have been replaced,
the new guide plate @ should be adjusted to a distance of
63 - 65 mm to the sheet guide late 0. The adjustment can be
made via the adjusting screw D .
