Table Tennis (SINGLE)

Atienza, Sean Kobe

Our first activity was table tennis in a singles format, and I still remember the anticipation I felt
before stepping up to the table. At first glance, it looked like a simple game, but as soon as I
started playing, I realized how much focus, agility, and strategy were involved. Every serve had
to be calculated, every return needed to be quick, and it was a constant mental game of
anticipating my opponent’s next move. I made a lot of mistakes early on—hitting the ball too
hard, missing shots—but with each round, I started to feel more confident and in control. The
intensity of the one-on-one setup pushed me to rely solely on myself, which helped improve my
concentration and self-discipline.

Playing singles also gave me a new appreciation for the importance of individual accountability
in sports. There was no one else to blame or to cover for me—if I made an error, I had to own it
and learn from it. I felt challenged, but in a good way. I found myself becoming more mindful
not just of my opponent’s movement, but also of my own body posture and hand coordination.
Though I didn’t win every match, I walked away feeling proud of how much I improved in a
short amount of time. The experience taught me the value of practice, patience, and mental
resilience.

De Vera, Justine Anne

During our Table Tennis Singles activity, I competed against a representative from the
Psychology Department. The match was challenging and intense, as both of us aimed to
showcase our skills. I focused on delivering precise and powerful serves, which gave me an
advantage during the game. My consistent and strategic service technique caught the attention of
the professor, who commended my performance. Receiving this recognition was both
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

encouraging and fulfilling. The experience not only improved my table tennis skills but also
strengthened my competitive spirit. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate and
demonstrate my abilities.

Gonzales, Kim
I took part in the exciting table tennis singles match between the psychology and management
accounting students on February 14, 2025. I experienced a mixture of nervousness and
adrenaline as I took the court because I knew I was playing for my department against a talented
opponent. But I became more self-assured and focused with every serve and rally, depending on
my quick reflexes and hand-eye coordination to return shots. Although the friendly competition
between psychology and management accounting added another level of excitement, I
discovered how to turn it into motivation that inspired me to perform to the best of my abilities.
In the end, I learned a lot from the game about tenacity, strategic thinking, and emotional
regulation, all of which are critical on and off the court.

Magabo, Gieselle

Singles table tennis was a blur of concentrated effort and game planning. Each point was like a
game of chess, requiring exact shot placement and instant reflexes. The tension was huge, all on
me, and a moment's distraction could cost me the match. I learned to read my opponent, to
anticipate their next move, and to change my game plan in midstream. The sense of
accomplishment after a grueling singles victory is unprecedented, a reflection of my talent and
mental toughness. It's an enriching experience that tests your limits.

Mamiit, Kim David

This was my first time playing table tennis against an opponent. I felt a mix of excitement and
nervousness as I stepped up to the table. The initial serve from my opponent was intense, and my
return shot was even more powerful, causing everyone around us to burst out laughing. At first, I
felt overwhelmed by the speed and spin of the ball. But as the game went on, I started to get the
hang of it. I learned how to serve, receive, and smash the ball effectively. It was a steep learning
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

curve, but with each passing minute, I grew more confident and comfortable. To my surprise, I
found myself enjoying the game more and more as it progressed. The thrill of competition, the
strategy involved, and the physical challenge of reacting quickly to the ball all combined to make
table tennis an exhilarating experience.

Mandocdoc, Jonathan
Our first activity was table tennis singles, I was so nervous because I don't know how to play this
sport but as the game went on, I got the hang of it like making the service go in. This sport
requires concentration, control, hand-eye coordination, and fast reaction time. It was a joyride of
emotion, you making a point then the opponent having an answer to your score. There is also a
pressure with the surroundings because there are many students watching the game and making a
mistake is kinda embarrassing but I didn't take that as a big deal because I am not really good at
this sport.

Mendoza, Cherry Anne D.

Last February 14, 2025, we had a table tennis single match between our department and the
Psychology students. My classmates are good at playing, so I felt a mix of nervousness and
excitement. When it's my turn to play I just took a deep breath to stay calm and be focused on the
game. I tried my best to control the ball, return every shot, and find the right time to score. I was
able to win the match against my opponent, and it was a good game. Through this activity, it
taught me how to focus, be patient and control my emotions. Table tennis really helps to improve
coordination, quick thinking and reflexes.

Mendoza, Gweneth M.

On February 14, 2025 we’re assigned to play one of the fastest-moving indoor sports table
tennis, also known as Ping-Pong. This sport is great for hand-eye coordination and reflexes. As
the match started, I quickly realized how important focus and quick reflexes were. Each serve
required concentration, and every rally tested my hand-eye coordination and decision-making. It
activates the brain at the same time to keep track of the ball, plan shots and strategies on how to
spin the ball is crucial. As a beginner, this kind of experience somehow unleashed a lot of
learnings towards flexibility and staying calm no matter how intense the game could be. Overall,
playing table tennis is a fun and effective way to improve your physical fitness and overall
health. It can be played at various levels of intensity and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and
skill levels.

Table Tennis (DOUBLES)

Atienza, Sean Kobe

A week later, we returned to the table for doubles table tennis, and this activity brought a
completely different experience. Playing with a partner shifted the dynamic from self-reliance to
teamwork. Suddenly, I had to adjust not just to the game, but also to someone else’s rhythm,
style, and reactions. We had to stay alert and constantly communicate, making sure we alternated
hits smoothly and didn’t get in each other’s way. At first, there were a few awkward
moments—missed balls, confused positioning—but we laughed it off and kept trying. The
encouragement we gave each other made the game even more enjoyable.

Over time, my partner and I built a sense of chemistry on the court. We learned to trust each
other and cover one another’s weaknesses. It was a lesson in patience, collaboration, and shared
responsibility. Unlike in singles, the wins and losses here were shared—and somehow, that made
everything feel lighter and more fun. I appreciated how this version of the game fostered
cooperation and built a stronger bond between classmates. It wasn’t just a game anymore—it
became a way to connect, support, and grow together.

De Vera, Justine Anne

During our Table Tennis Doubles activity, I teamed up with Ivy Evangelista to compete against
Ruth Joyce and Shane Caguimbal. The match was both exciting and challenging, filled with
energy and sportsmanship from all participants. Ivy and I worked together effectively,
coordinating our movements and strategies throughout the game. We truly enjoyed playing as a
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

team, and our teamwork on the court made the experience even more memorable. Our opponents
also demonstrated great skill and determination, making the match engaging and competitive.
Overall, it was a rewarding experience that strengthened our teamwork and love for the sport.

Magabo, Gieselle
Doubles table tennis was an entirely different test. The challenge evolved from solo brilliance to
coordinated partnership. I learned that communication was key; rapid, almost reflexive shouts of
mine or yours were essential to prevent collisions and maintain effective coverage of the table.
The battle was not just about learning to play my own game, but about coordinating with the
other player's style and reading their moves. Trust and understanding became as valuable as skill,
and the thrill of triumph was heightened by the shared victory. It showed me the importance of
teamwork and the strength of synergy.

Mamiit, Kim David

Honestly, I'd say that playing table tennis, especially doubles, is really challenging. It's not just
difficult, but also confusing to play. In our game against Psychology, my partner Sean and I got
confused several times. There were moments when we weren't sure who should receive the ball
or who should serve. We also got mixed up on how and when to switch sides or positions.
Playing doubles table tennis can be nerve-wracking, especially when the confusion between
partners becomes more pronounced. It was a valuable learning experience, and I hope to improve
my skills and communication with my partner in future games.
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

Mandocdoc, Jonathan
Table tennis doubles is a much more exciting activity, it requires teamwork to win. Having
someone by your side to help you return the ball to the other side of the net is a great help. This
activity helps you in communicating with your teammate amidst the pressure of the game,
sometimes the best communication is just the gestures of the body. You need to make a way for
your teammate because the receiving must be done alternately, so you need to not be a burden to
your teammate and make a way.

Mendoza, Cherry Anne

We also had a table tennis doubles match, I was partnered with one of my classmates, and we
played against two other students. Doubles match was enjoyable for me, at first I was unsure
how to play because of some rules but then the game became okay as time went by. In doubles,
communication is very important. During the game, we helped each other, took turns properly,
and supported one another. The match was fast and challenging, but we enjoyed every moment.
We had to move quickly, trust each other’s skills, and stay focused. We didn’t win that game, but
we gave our best and had a great time playing together. From the doubles match, I learned how
important teamwork and coordination are. It’s not just about playing well as an individual, but
also knowing how to work together. All in all, the experience was fun, challenging, and full of
learning.

Mendoza, Gweneth M.
On the same day, February 14, 2025 we’re tasked to show our teamwork through playing table
tennis doubles. Its set of rules and regulations are far way more different compared to single as it
requires coordination and understanding between partners. It also unlocked a lot of tactics that
eventually lead to complementing strengths and weaknesses in achieving great results. During
the game, we also faced some confusions on service, switching turns or who was supposed to hit
next leading to simultaneous missing shots and points. Furthermore, playing doubles can be a fun
way to socialize and connect with others while improving your overall physical fitness.

Pickleball (SINGLE)

De Vera, Justine Anne

During our Pickleball Singles Midterm, I competed against Angelic Albaytar and emerged as the
winner. It was an enjoyable experience, as I found the game quite similar to table tennis, though
with different rules and equipment. Despite the differences, I quickly adapted and appreciated the
unique aspects of pickleball. Angelic and I both played with enthusiasm, making the match fun
and engaging. Winning the game was rewarding, and it boosted my confidence in trying new
sports. Overall, it was a great opportunity to learn, compete, and have fun at the same time.

Magabo, Gieselle
My initial experience with singles pickleball was unexpectedly difficult. Although the reduced
court and underhand serve appeared less intimidating than tennis, the rapid-fire rallies required
rapid reaction and accurate shot placement. The difficulty arose from sustaining consistent
control, particularly in high-pressure situations. I found myself over-hitting shots,
underestimating angles, and unable to recover from my opponent's forceful volleys.
Nevertheless, the experience was thrilling. Learning to adjust my strategy and enhance my court
coverage was extremely rewarding. The thrill of acing a precisely placed dink or a crushing
volley was a small triumph in itself.

Mamiit, Kim David

This was my first game of pickleball. Honestly, I found it easy to play because it's similar to
badminton, where you just need to hit the ball to the ground. It's also similar to table tennis, but
easier. In this game, I played against my opponent. I didn't feel any pressure or nervousness, I
just enjoyed the whole game. The game involves serving, receiving, and smashing the ball. There
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

are also rules to follow. When serving, the ball must be hit horizontally or to the opposite side of
the court. If not, the ball is considered out. In our game, my opponent and I didn't play intensely,
but we had fun.

Mandocdoc, Jonathan
Pickleball singles require precision, you have to land the ball diagonally when serving. You also
need to act fast because there are more areas that you need to cover. This is easier compared to
table tennis for me because you can really see where the ball will land but you also need to chase
after it. Even though I lost in this game, I still enjoyed it. It was a great experience.

Mendoza, Cherry Anne D.

On March 14, 2025 we played a single match for pickleball and I was against my classmate. It is
also considered as our midterm for our subject pathfit. Pickleball is similar to tennis and
badminton, but it has its own style and rules. It was also my first time playing it so I tried my
best to stay focused on the game. We really didn't have more rallies but then we enjoyed it and
won the match. I also think that pickleball is a fun sport that teaches patience, discipline, and
determination.
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

Mendoza, Gweneth M.

On March 14, 2025 we’re assigned to perform a sport called pickleball - single. The premise of
the game is similar to other racket sports. The racket is larger than a ping-pong paddle, but
smaller than a tennis racket. Serving is performed underhand, with the server making contact
with the ball below the waist. Pickleball requires a lot of movement from one place to another
making it more beneficial to health as it improves your strength and exercises your body. In
singles, the court coverage becomes a major hurdle, as one player is responsible for defending
the entire side, requiring much greater stamina, speed, and agility. Overall, while singles
pickleball offers a rewarding and competitive experience, it tests a player’s physical and mental
limits far more challenging than doubles.

Pickleball (DOUBLES)

Atienza, Sean Kobe

Pickleball was one of the most unique sports we played, and I was both curious and excited to try
it out. It was a sport I hadn’t heard much about before, but once we started playing, I found it
surprisingly enjoyable. The game, a blend of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, required a lot of
coordination and quick thinking. At first, getting used to the wiffle ball and smaller paddles was
a bit tricky. The timing was different, and the court felt more compact, which made the game
fast-paced and unpredictable. I had to learn how to place my shots carefully and adjust to my
partner’s movements as well.

What stood out the most in this activity was how it combined strategy with teamwork. I learned
to pay attention to my partner’s position, cover gaps when needed, and react quickly to our
opponents’ plays. We improved round by round, and by the end, it felt like we were reading each
other’s moves instinctively. It was one of the most fun and surprising sports we played, and it
reminded me that being open to new experiences can lead to great memories and personal
growth.

De Vera, Justine Anne

During our Pickleball Doubles activity, I teamed up with Ivy Evangelista to compete against
Angelic Albaytar and Gieselle Magabo. Despite coming from a tough time and feeling a bit
drained, Ivy and I gave our best effort and focused on enjoying the game. The match was
lighthearted and fun, and we appreciated the friendly competition. Playing pickleball together
was a great way to relieve stress, and it felt good to just have fun on the court. The experience
reminded us that sometimes, enjoying the game matters more than the outcome

Gonzales, Kim
It was so much fun to play doubles table tennis with Kim David. We initially wandered a little
and giggled at our own confusion over serves and shots. But when we faced Ally and Grecia, we
were able to work as a team. We just enjoyed the game and each other's company and didn't take
it too seriously. We took advantage of our opponents' mistakes and won the match before we
knew it.It was all about having a good time with friends, and I'm very happy that we were able to
do that.

Magabo, Gieselle
Doubles pickleball was an eye-opener when it came to teamwork. The game became totally
different, demanding constant communication and coordination with my partner. The battle here
was less about personal skill and more about fluid working together. We had to learn how to read
each other's movements, cover up for each other's vulnerabilities, and create a mutual
understanding of the court. The most satisfying was the synergy we created – the smooth
collaboration that turned separate efforts into a strong collective energy. Victory as a team was
much more satisfying than a single victory.

Mamiit, Kim David

This game was similar to the previous one, but this time I had a partner, Kim Gonzales. At first,
we experienced confusion again, like in our previous game, because sometimes we didn't know
which area to hit the ball to or who should serve next. Our opponents were Ally and Grecia.
Throughout the game, we just laughed and had fun because we're friends. We didn't think of it as
a competition, but just a game. Even our opponents made mistakes, like serving the ball to the
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

wrong side, which gave us points. In the end, my partner and I won. It was a fun and relaxed
game, and we enjoyed playing together.

Mandocdoc, Jonathan
Doubles pickleball revealed the importance of teamwork. The game transformed completely,
requiring ongoing communication and collaboration with my partner. The conflict here relied
less on individual talent and more on seamless collaboration. We needed to understand each
other's actions, protect one another's weaknesses, and establish a shared comprehension of the
court. The most gratifying aspect was the synergy we established – the seamless teamwork that
transformed individual efforts into a powerful collective force. Winning as a team was far more
gratifying than an individual win.

Mendoza, Cherry Anne D.

After the singles match, we also had the doubles match and I played with my friend and we were
both excited and a little nervous. There are some rules also, the serve must be done underhand,
and it has to go cross-court (diagonally). Players are also not allowed to hit volleys inside the
kitchen unless the ball bounces there first. This rule keeps players from staying too close to the
net and smashing everything.Another thing I learned is positioning and court awareness because
both players need to move together as a team. We need to cover the side of the court and be
ready to switch roles quickly. I learned that it's not always about power. In doubles, it's more
about control, teamwork, and smart placement.
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

Mendoza, Gweneth

The same with table tennis doubles, playing pickleball with a partner challenges your
coordination and way of communicating through sports. Pickleball is popular among all age
groups because it’s easy to learn, low-impact, and doesn’t require a lot of expensive equipment.
It’s great for improving coordination, balance, and fitness while also encouraging social
interaction and teamwork. It requires a lot of concentration and rhythm because of the need to
learn your partner’s strengths and weaknesses in a short period of time. However, rules in
pickleball are way more easier to understand compared to table tennis so the confusion between
me and my partner was somehow lessened all throughout the game. It also helps us to smoothly
win the rally. Another great part is that through playing pickleball I was able to enjoy a friendly
competition that makes way to more connection that goes beyond teamwork.
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

Futsal

Atienza, Sean Kobe

We played futsal, which was a complete change in pace and intensity. Futsal, being a smaller and
faster-paced version of soccer, demanded full-body movement and nonstop awareness. From the
moment the game started, it was go-go-go. Everyone was running, passing, defending, and trying
to score. I played more defensively, and it was intense to keep up with the quick footwork and
close-contact action. There wasn’t much time to think—you had to trust your instincts and make
smart decisions on the fly.
Though it was physically exhausting, I loved how it pushed me beyond my comfort zone. The
constant motion tested my stamina, and the quick passes required sharp coordination with
teammates. We had to rely on each other more than ever. I gained a better appreciation for
endurance, strategy, and the importance of communication. Even when things didn’t go as
planned, we didn’t give up. Futsal taught me the value of perseverance and teamwork under
pressure, and I left the court completely drained but incredibly satisfied with the effort I gave.

De Vera, Justine Anne

During our Futsal activity, I had a great time playing alongside my friends. The fast-paced and
energetic nature of the game made it both exciting and enjoyable. Teaming up with familiar faces
made the experience even more fun, as we encouraged and supported each other throughout the
match. We shared laughs and celebrated small victories, which made the game feel less
competitive and more about bonding. Playing futsal with my friends was a refreshing break, and
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

it reminded me of the joy of playing sports together. Overall, it was a memorable and fulfilling
experience.

Gonzales, Kim
It was a thrilling experience to play futsal. Running around the court and attempting to score
goals while dodging opponents was so much fun. Particularly when kicking the ball toward the
opponent's goal, the game demanded accuracy, balance, and fast thinking. The teamwork was
what I enjoyed the most; we supported one another at every turn and collaborated well. Despite
the intense competition, we had a great time. The excitement of the game and my teammates'
companionship made it worth it, even though I must admit that I became quite exhausted and
nearly fainted from difficulty breathing.

Magabo, Gieselle
My experience at futsal was a blur of body-on-body action and endless movement. The small,
enclosed court called for endless peripheral awareness and instant decision-making. The battle
usually came in the form of the sheer physicality of the game; the endless running, rapid changes
of direction, and the extreme pressure of close marking left me winded and sore. I mastered the
ability to maneuver the ball in small spaces, to read my teammates' movements, and to use my
body effectively to block the ball from others. The thrill of scoring a goal after a sequence of
clever passes and deft movements was extremely gratifying, a testament to the teamwork and
accuracy involved. Beyond the physical demand, futsal also schooled me on the value of fast
thinking and strategic placement under pressure. It was a continual challenge to my endurance,
speed, and strategic sense.
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

Mamiit, Kim David

I can say that this game was my last ounce of energy for that day. Looking at the players, it
seemed easy because all you had to do was receive the ball well and shoot it into the net. In this
game, I was teamed up with Sean, Daniel. When the game started, the ball first went to Sean, and
we passed it around to try to get it to the shooting net. The game was intense because both teams
were evenly matched and skilled. They were good at defending the ball, making it hard for one
player to get it. This game was exhausting, made me breathless, and felt like I was running out of
air. The game was dizzying because you had to keep moving to defend the ball. In the end, both
teams scored a point each.

Mandocdoc, Jonathan
For the futsal, I was teamed up with the girls, I played as the goalkeeper. Being the goalkeeper, at
first I thought it was a easy position but as the ball comes closer, the tension builds up, there is
no rest when defending, you need to be cautious all the time. It was enjoyable because even if
there is competition in the air, we were having so much fun. This activity requires balance
especially when kicking, precision is also needed, but most importantly is how you dribble the
ball toward the enemies' goal. This strengthens our teamwork, even though we didn't really got to
communicate, we always had each other's back.
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

Mendoza, Cherry Anne D.

One of the fun activities we had was playing futsal. Futsal is a fast-paced indoor version of
football, played with five players on each team. It also requires quick thinking, good footwork,
and close ball control. We knew that in futsal, quick passing, smart movement, and strong
defense are very important because everything happens fast. It was a tight match. The score
stayed 0-0 for most of the game. We had a few chances to shoot, but the other team’s defense
was strong. One of my teammates made a great move to open space and just like that, with one
shot and one goal, we won the match. Though it's difficult, I enjoyed the experience playing it
and it was a fun match for me.

Mendoza, Gweneth M.

On March 28, 2025 we’re tasked to play futsal, the FIFA-recognised form of small-sided indoor
football. It is usually played between two teams who each have five players on the pitch at any
one time, with rolling substitutes and a smaller ball than soccer that is harder and less bouncy.
Futsal positions include goalkeeper and defender. At first, I thought it would be easy because the
court was smaller, but I quickly found out that futsal comes with its own set of challenges. Given
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

that the ball is heavier, everything moves much faster and the opponent can easily react because
the court is smaller. Another challenge was controlling the ball and passing it with your
teammates. Positioning was also a little bit confusing. Despite all the difficulties I enjoyed my
experience of playing this kind of sport as it improves my stamina from running non-stop with
very few breaks.

Volleyball

Atienza, Sean Kobe

Volleyball was one of the most anticipated activities of the semester, and when the day came, the
energy in the air was contagious. As we warmed up, I could feel the excitement and a little
nervousness—especially because volleyball requires a lot of team coordination and quick
reactions. Once the game started, all of those feelings turned into adrenaline. Every serve, bump,
and spike involved not just physical skill, but also constant communication and awareness. I
remember how intense the rallies were and how satisfying it felt to win a point after working
together as a team.
One of the best things about this activity was how it brought everyone closer. Whether we were
on the court or cheering from the sidelines, we were united. Even when we made mistakes—like
missed passes or failed serves—there was no blame, only support and encouragement. I
personally learned the importance of trust in volleyball. You have to believe that your teammates
will be there to back you up, just as you’re expected to do the same. It was exhausting at times,
but deeply rewarding. Volleyball reminded me that the heart of any successful team is
communication, trust, and mutual respect.

De Vera, Justine Anne

For our midterms, we had a volleyball game instead of a written exam, which made the
experience both fun and challenging. I played with my friends and felt really happy because my
serves were successful, even though I’m not very confident in volleyball. This activity was a
great way to relieve stress from academics while still being tested on our skills and teamwork.
Playing volleyball as a midterm was unique and enjoyable, allowing me to learn and have fun at
the same time. It also encouraged me to try something new outside the usual classroom setting.
Overall, it was a refreshing and memorable way to take our midterms.
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

Gonzales, Kim

One of the highlights of my Pathfit experience was playing volleyball, which also happened to be
our final exam. I wasn't required to play because I was a Ritmo member, but my passion for
volleyball overcame me. Joining my teammates Sean, Kim, Ivan, Jonathan, and Daniel on the
court thrilled me. Despite the competitive spirit, there was a lot of laughter and positive energy
during the game. From serving to spiking, we put the skills we had learned throughout the course
into practice. I even had a few opportunities to serve, but the results were not always favorable!
Despite the intense rally points, we prevailed 20–17 because of our effective teamwork. It was an
enjoyable and unforgettable way to wrap up.
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

Magabo, Gieselle

Playing volleyball was a unique challenge. The focus had to change from personal skill to
synchronized teamwork. The fight was usually working on the perfect timing and accuracy of
my spikes, sets, and receives. Proper communication with teammates on a regular basis was key
to successful plays, and the irritation of serves or attacks that weren't up to par was often
experienced. And yet, the joy of a beautifully executed spike, the pleasant splat of the ball on the
opponent's court, and the sense of shared elation at a point well won was incredibly rewarding.
Volleyball instilled patience, determination, and the potential of cooperative strength. It was an
education in cooperation, accuracy, and the pride in attaining a common objective with concerted
action. The strategic elements, ranging from positioning to outguessing the opponent, gave yet
another layer of complexity and enjoyment to the game.

Mamiit, Kim David

This was one of the games I was looking forward to in Pathfit. Since I knew that volleyball is my
favorite sport, I was confident and ready to play. In this game, each team needed six members.
College of Accountancy, Business and Economics

My teammates were Sean, Kim, Ivan, Jonathan, and Daniel. I felt excited throughout the game.
The game started with our opponent, Jonas, serving the ball. The first point went to our
opponents. In this game, we applied the skills we learned, such as serving, receiving, setting,
blocking, and spiking. I even got the chance to serve the ball. My first serve was successful, with
no errors. However, my fourth serve was a mistake, as the ball went outside due to my incorrect
hit. The game became intense as we had a rally. The rally ended when my teammate made an
outside receive. In the end, we won with a score of 20-17.

Mandocdoc, Jonathan
For our finals in Pathfit, we played volleyball. In my experience, it was really hard, all of my
three serves didn't go in, I couldn't control the direction of the ball. Also, communication is not
present, sometimes we are confused on who will receive the ball then resulting in no one
receiving the ball. It was a great experience that humbled me, I need to learn more things not just
academically, but also in sports. I need to improve my skills, the receiving and serving.

Mendoza, Cherry Anne D.

Our last activity for the semester was our volleyball match, and it was also considered our finals.
Volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of six players on each side of the court. The main
goal is to send the ball over the net and make it land on the opponent’s side while stopping them
from doing the same. Players use their hands and arms to serve, pass, set, spike, and block the
ball. It’s a fast and exciting game that requires good communication, teamwork, and quick
reactions. Everyone in our team was focused and ready, I have to admit that I felt a bit pressured.
However, it taught me how to stay strong under pressure, and have fun no matter what the
outcome.

On May 9, 2025 we’re tasked to perform our final exam which is volleyball composed of 6
members each team. Volleyball is the fourth most popular sport in the world, boasting millions of
players that enjoys widespread participation. In volleyball, there are six primary positions on the
court including outside hitter, opposite hitter, setter, middle blocker, libero, and defensive
specialist. Volleyball offers numerous benefits such as learning about leadership, teamwork,
respect and communication. It also strengthens your upper body and muscles. As you jump to
spike or block the ball, the explosive movements required engage your legs, core, and upper
body, all while working on reaction time and quickness. And by constantly moving around the
court, you’re enhancing your footwork and coordination, which translates to better performance
in other activities as well.
