REQUIREMENTS
Technology has the potential to address some of the most pressing challenges faced by
communities around the world, from gaps in healthcare access and educational inequality to
environmental risks, mental health needs, public safety, and ethical concerns around emerging
technologies.
Your challenge is to create a solution that responds to a defined social problem. This could be a
working prototype, a white paper, a policy brief, a startup or project proposal, a data analysis, or
another innovative format. Technical solutions are welcome (such as AI-powered tools, web or
mobile apps, platforms that improve access to public resources, or data-driven systems for better
decision-making) but non-technical submissions with strong research, strategy, or policy design
are equally encouraged.

Participants are encouraged to leverage AI, data science, or other digital tools where relevant, but
the core focus is on producing solutions that are impactful, implementable, and socially
responsible.

Participants must submit a solution that responds to a real-world social challenge. The specifics
are up to you! Projects can be white papers, briefs, startup/project proposals, prototypes,
hardware concepts, data analysis, tools, AI models, websites, strategy, etc. Submissions must
include:

 An attached image

 Project title

 Brief problem statement and explanation of the solution

 A link to the actual submission (e.g., GitHub, Colab, deployed app, Google Doc, Canva, etc)
