Curvent Ventilators are designed to fit any rooftop -

either ridge or slope-mounted. It gets rid of hot, stale
air within the building which is then replaced by cool,
fresh air through the fixed or adjustable louvres at low
level, vastly improving working conditions and
productivity.

Various finishes to choose from:

Galvanised steel, Chromadek, aluminium and stainless
steel.

All are weatherproofed to the strictest climatic variables.

In the event of a fire, this louvred ventilator

automatically opens up to a full 90°, causing a "chimney
effect" allowing heat and smoke to escape quickly - thus
minimising structural and product damage. Because of
the clear, smokeless layer of fresh air at the lower level
caused by the ventilators, evacuation of personnel and
access to the building is made easy for fire fighting.
Without this sophisticated fire ventilation system, the
intense heat and smoke contained within the confined
area builds up to such an extent that it will cause the
building to collapse.

Fire-X 1620 in action

● Can be used as a dual-purpose ventilator in a system where a

weather eye will automatically close the ventilator at the first sign
of inclement weather.
● A choice of cable, electromechanical and pneumatic controls is Curvent Fire-X 1620 (closed)
available.
● Each louvre blade closes over its own rain channel making
the Fire-X 1620 totally weatherproofed.
