Extra stitch

A very common term in crocheting is the extra (shift) stitch.

So what is this loop?

When crocheting, almost always the marker of the beginning of the round
is shifted to the right side. It is necessary to align it. And how to do it?

You just need to crochet another 1sc at the end of the round and move the
marker by one stitch.

The second stitch becomes the first and the first becomes the last. This is
the extra stitch.

And the most important thing! This stitch is not included in crocheting.

Embroider whites of the eyes with a white thread.
Tint the cheeks and nose with dry pastel or blush
of peach color.
Draw freckles with oil paints.
Embroider eyebrows with an orange thread.

EARS (MAKE 2)

Crochet with light beige yarn, hook size 1.75 mm.

1. 5hdc in MR (5)
Fasten off, cut the yarn, leaving the yarn tail for
sewing pieces.
Sew the ears to the head between rounds 21 and
23 at a distance of 9 sc from the eyes.

Crochet the bangs.
Attach the yarn to front loop 20 of round 8 and crochet:
ch13, from the second chain on the hook: 12sc, sl st, ch15, from the second chain: 14sc, sl st, ch12,
from the second chain: 11sc, sl st, (ch11, from the second chain: 10sc, sl st)*3, ch9, from the second
chain: 8sc, sl st, ch8, from the second chain: 7sc, sl st.
Cut the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
Distribute the curls with pins (MR on the head matches with MR on the hair wig):
- long curls (18sc) are placed behind the head between the ears.
- short curls - above the ears.
- distribute the bangs as per the photo.

After all the strands are distributed, fasten them (sew with a thread to match the hair or glue
with hot glue gun)

Prepare the insoles. Circle the crocheted part on a thick cardboard paper or plastic (for example, a
container lid), cut it out, try it on and put it aside for now. Make 2 insoles for 2 shoes at once.
Change color to gray, cut the dark brown yarn.

6. 30sc – short round (you can have another number of stitches).
Move the marker. It should run behind the leg, in the center of the heel. The guideline is a straight
line of the foundation chain. Align the marker in the process by crocheting extra stitches (the
marker runs at the back of the leg in the middle).

Crochet with mustard yarn, hook size 1.75 mm. Work in rows BLO.
Ch26, from the second chain on the hook:
1-30. 25sc, ch1, turn (30 rows)
Cut the yarn, leaving the yarn tail for sewing pieces.
Sew up the last row and the foundation chain.
Pull the first hole with a thread, fix it.
Stuff the pumpkin with fiberfill and tighten the hole on the other side.
After that, make the needle sculpting. Insert the thread into the bottom, exit through the top,
then again insert and exit it through the bottom. Fix and hide the threads inside.

Crochet the stem with green yarn, hook size 1.75 mm.
