It is my pleasure to support the candidacy of Ms. Deboky Saha for admission in the PG
Program in your university. Ms. Saha was first acquainted with me as one of my students in
BRAC University where I served for one year as a Visiting Professor. Ms, Saha had all along
been a very brilliant student. Her pre-university academic records are also very excellent.
This led her to get admission into the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of
BRAC University which is one of the highest ranked engineering universities in Bangladesh
I taught Microprocessor and Numerical Analysis there and Ms. Saha took both of my courses.
Additionally, she was one my thesis students in BRAC University. As a student she was very
attentive, pro-active, well spoken, inquisitive and mindful. I found her regular in the classes
and finally she scored well in my courses. I have found her much more advanced than other
pupils with respect to academic performance, depth of knowledge and interest upon recent
developments in science and technology. Her mathematical aptitude, thoughtful questions
and creative solutions easily distinguish her from other pupils. These qualities had eventually
rewarded her with a final best GPA. From my own observation, Ms. Saha has the self-
motivation to explore and undertake research in the field of Electrical and Electronic
Engineering. She is very confident and is blessed with an encouraging attitude. In summary,
she may be considered as an engineering enthusiast, who never hesitates to work hard to
achieve his goal.
As a thesis student she could work in a group cooperatively and always outstanding in her
group. She scored highest grade among her group-mates. The fundamentals of the subject
were very much clear to her. She could overcome the challenges easily during her research
work. Ms. Saha attracted me for her thirst for knowledge and eager to learn not only the
academic area but also the developments related to Electrical Engineering.
As far as I know Ms. Saha participated a number of social activities and she was a member of
different social forums. She could communicate within her group. She is very good in
speaking, writing and listening English.
As Ms. Saha is very much interested in pursuing higher studies, given the opportunity she
could prove herself worth for it. I am sure she will not disappoint the supervisor in her higher
studies by showing her internal quality in doing research.
