Educational scholarship

APPLICATION TO BE AWARDED WITH SCHOLARSHIP.
I was highly enthused when I heard this great offer of yours, that they had been an
opportunity for us to apply for scholarship in Obuasi Area. I hereby write to you my
career and how best this scholarship will help me to achieve it.
When I was in the basic school, I aimed that, I want to be a lecturer in a tertiary
institution. As I grow up, I have been praying over this dream and now it has come to be
that, I will be a lecturer. When I was in the Senior High School, I used to take my class
through some lessons in the absence of some teachers in order to build a pedagogical
competency.
After Senior High School, I decided to find something to do in order to support
my parents in furthering my education so that my dream and ambition will be
achieved. I was able to accumulate some amount in the first two years after SHS and
so applied for admission form at university of education (WENEBA). God being so
good, I had an admission but quite unfortunate for me, the fund I raised together with
that of my parents were used to operate my brother who was in a critical health
condition and so I could not make it to school. That was 2023 /2024, I bought another
form in Akrokerri college of education, because I knew that, university is costly than
college of education and we cannot raise a huge fund for that because my parents
cocoa farms and the crops was not yield yet.
I have had an admission to Akrokerri college of education by God's grace
When I was about to enter into the institution my mother fell sick on her way to her
hometown unexpectedly. As I speak now my mother is in a critical condition which
does not enable her to work with My Father and to support him as well. Therefore, all
the burdens have been upon my father. He is taking care of five children, I am in
Akrokerri college of education now, my brother who is next to me has completed
senior High School and staying in the house. He is the one who was operated due to
his critical health condition. And the rest, one is in the secondary school now, another
at Junior High School and the last born is at primary four.
Due to these burdens, my dad alone cannot provide my fees in the years
ahead while taking care of my mother for her well-being and catering for the younger
ones.
As the first born, it is incumbent on me to pave a good way for the younger ones to
follow. To be able to be a good role model to them, achievement of my dream is
essential. Therefore, I humbly apply to ask for this scholarship because it will help me
to achieve my aim as a lecturer in the future as I pursue an educational course at the
tertiary level.
I hope I will be granted this scholarship because this will allow me to pursue
education without stopping on the way and I have to achieve my goal
