The AM-60-860 is a professional quality agile audio/video modula-

tor equipped with the Emergency Alert System (EAS) feature,
which can also be used as an alternate IF input. The unit provides
an audio and video modulated RF carrier on any channel from 54
to 860 MHz. Any standard audio/video source can be used, such

AM-60-860 Channel tuning is easily accomplished with the use of front panel push button switches. Frequency plans

Triple Channel Frequency Agile Audio/Video Modulators

The FAxM Series is a professional quality, triple channel agile

audio/video modulator. This unit provides audio and video
modulated RF carriers on any channel in the 54 to 806 MHz
frequency range, using only one rack space. Any standard
audio/video source can be used, such as satellite receivers,
television cameras, video tape recorders, or television

Headend
demodulators. Agile channel selection permits on the-fly
channel changes and reduces the need for large inventories of channelized products.
ORDERING INFORMATION:
Four modules are available with 2 basic distinctions. The FA3M-50-806, Stock No. 5961A, comes equipped with FA3M-50-806
independed IF loops, which allows interfacing with video all-call and signal scrabling systems. IF loops are available in Stock No. 5961A
a triple channel configuration only. The FA1M; FA2M and FA3M, Stock No. 59711, 59712 and 59713 respectively do Triple Channel Modulator with
not have IF loop capability. Independent IF Loops
Each modulator included is equipped with separate audio/video inputs and a combined RF output. Independent
modualtor frequency selection is easily accomlished with the use of front panel push button switches following the entry FA1M-50-806
instrucitons. Frequency plans including Standard CATV, IRC, HRC and Broadcast are accomodated. All channels with Stock No. 59711
appropriate FCC ofsets are pre-programmed and tuned electronically via microprossor. Single Channel Modulator
The FAxM horizontal AMCM modules provide extremely clean output signals with distortion products -60 dB or better. FA2M-50-806
An exceptionally low broadband noise floor (-73 dBc or better 3 channels combined) makes the FAxM Series ideal for Stock No. 59712
large, multiple channel headends wthout the need for additional filtering.
