OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Sub:- Filling up 05 ex-Cadre posts of Accounts Officer in various regional offices of Staff
Sele€tion Commission on deputation basis.
Staff Selection Commission invites applications for filling up 05 (five) ex-Cadre posts (Group
'B) of Accounts Officer in Staff Selection Commission on deputation basis. The details of the posts
along with the eligibility criteria, education qualification/experience etc. required for each posts is
given in the enclosed Annexure-I.
2. The appointment will be made on deputation basis initially for a period of 03 years, which can
be extended for a period not exceeding seven yearsr and will be governed by instructions issued vide
DoPT vide oM No. 6/8/2009-Estt (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time. The
fixation of pay/deputation (duty) allowance shall be governed by instructions issued by DoPT from
time to time.
3. The maximum age limit on deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on closing date of receipt
of application by the C-ommission, The Commission reserves the right not to fill up any or all the
above vacancies.
4. The application in the prescribed pro-forma (Annexure-Il), together with all necessary
documents i.e. cadre clearance, vigilance clearance, copies of APARS etc. and 'Certificate from the
Employer'should reach to the undersigned, through proper channel, within 2 months from the date
of publication of the advertisement in Employment News.
5. It is clarified that any form of conditional forwarding from the employer or applications
received without prescribed documents and'Certificate of Employer'will be rejected.
6. The applicants must ensure that their application(s) should reach SSC through proper channel
by the last date prescribed for receipt of applications. However, they may also send an advance copy
of the application(s) to SSC well before the last date prescribed and ensure forwarding of their
application through proper channel promptly.
7. This may kindly be given wide publicity.

Note-2 The period of deputation including the period
of deputation in another ex-cadre post held
immediately preceding this appointment in the same
or some other organization/department of the Central
Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
The Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation
shall be'Not exceeding 56 years'as on the last date of
receipt of applications
Note 3: For the purpose of appointment on
deputation or absorption basis, the service rendered
on a regular basis by an offlcer prior to 1January,
2006 (the date from which the revised pay structure
based on the Sixth Central Pay Commission
recommendation has been extended) shall be deemed
to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay
or pay scale extended based on the recommendations
of the Pay commjssion except where there has been
merger of more than one pre- revised scale of pay
into one grade with a common grade pay or pay sczle
and where this benefit will extend only for the post(s)
for which that grade pay or pay scale is the normal
replacement grade without any upgradation.
