Chapter One
t was a simple ad in the classifieds. Only a few lines. Expedition seeks paid intern. Some
I hiking experience necessary. Must be cold tolerant. Apply in person. Liv would have missed
it if she had not been searching the paper so desperately.
Her parents left her with nothing but painful memories and debt when they died. She was
struggling just to keep her head above water. Her own student debt was a mountain she felt she
could never climb. She probably would have skipped the ad if she had any other choice.
Liv arrived early to the posh downtown office, wearing her best outfit and still feeling
under-dressed. She need not have worried. The man who interviewed her did not seem to care
about her lack of work experience or overwhelming debt. He seemed far more interested in her
lack of family and shortage of close friends.
It was strange at the time, but Liv was too desperate to question it. She was hired
immediately. Given, now she knew why none of her background had mattered. The expedition
did not truly need her to do anything. Aside from be female.
Liv looked around the small shack and sighed. At least they left her food and water. The
others probably thought she was clueless about everything. They obviously had no intention of
telling her about their plans. If one of the village women had not pulled her aside two days ago,
she would be terrified out of her mind.
As it was, she was still somewhat terrified. Definitely horrified that her employers had
brought her along as some kind of human sacrifice for the beast lurking around the village. She
was bait. According to the village woman, the beast had visited their village for years. It had
never harmed anyone, but it was common knowledge that it always watched the women.
The woman told Liv to be calm in the monster’s presence. Do not show fear or weakness.
The woman’s words were the only thing keeping her calm. Liv huddled closer to the fire and
listened to the wind howl outside the cabin. She hoped her treacherous employers were freezing
their asses off.
The light slowly faded outside the shack. Liv huddled up under the only blanket and stared
into the flames of her small fire. She eventually drifted off. Hours later, she was jerked awake by
the sound of the wind. It was a haunting howl that made the walls shake.
Underneath the wind was another fainter sound. Screaming? It was gone by the time she
was awake enough to be aware of it. Cut off or faded away, Liv was not sure. She sat, tense and
hardly breathing, listening for any hint of screams, but there was nothing. She did not bother
trying to fall back asleep.
At the first sign of light, Liv bundled the remainder of her supplies together in a knapsack
and stepped out of the shack. It had snowed at some point during the night. Just enough of a
dusting to partially fill in the footsteps of her employers. Liv gripped the straps of her pack and
followed the tracks.
They would not have gone too far. Not if they wanted to capture the creature when it came
for her. Somehow, she doubted they intended to come to her aid if the beast attacked. Liv
scowled at the thought. She headed for the rocky ridge a few hundred yards away.
Liv’s boots crunched through the snow, the only sound in the early morning hush. She kept
her gaze on the footprints, only glancing up to ensure she was still alone. The last thing she
wanted was to run into the creature they were hunting. Well, the creature her employers were
hunting anyway.
She had no interest in hunting or catching anything. From what the village woman had told
her, the creature was only dangerous to hunters. Which did nothing to explain the occasional
disappearances from the village. Women would vanish into the night, only to be returned a few
days later. None of them hurt, but they were silent about where they had been.
Liv got the impression there was a secret all of the village women were hiding, even from
the village men. It was crazy, but she got the feeling the women were not abducted so much as
voluntarily leaving. For whatever reason. Liv had rolled the question over and over in her mind,
and the answer she came up with was something too strange to even consider.
She pushed the whole idea from her mind when she crested the hill. As she had expected, a
small camp was set up just over the ridge. A large central tent and three smaller sleeping tents.
Liv paused at the top of the hill and frowned at the quiet camp.
There was something off about it. Liv shaded her eyes against the bright sunlight and
squinted at the site. Where was everyone? The only movement was the tent sides billowing in the
wind. Liv slowly made her way down the hill toward the seemingly empty camp.
She wandered around the side of the tent closest to her and froze. Bright crimson was
splashed across the far side of the tent, more of it puddled in the partially-melted snow. Liv
ducked to peek through the side of the ripped tent side. The floor of the tent was a mess of blood,
chunks of flesh, and the remains of a snowsuit. Liv covered her mouth and stumbled backward.
Her wide eyes followed the red slush from the tent to the one next to it. She only had to
take a few steps to see that the scene was almost identical to the bloody mess inside the other
tent. Liv tried to make sense of what she was seeing. How many were dead? It was impossible to
tell if everyone was accounted for.
There were four men in the hunting party. Surely, they could not all be dead. Liv looked in
the last of the smaller tents to find it empty. There was only the large tent left to search. She was
not sure what she would do if she was alone. The village was miles away.
Chapter Two
iv slowly walked toward the large tent. The front flaps were wide open, swaying in the
L wind. Liv crept closer, keeping her eyes on the ground. The footprints in front of the main
tent told a story of frantic running and unsuccessful escape. The bloody slush grew deeper the
closer she came to the wide entrance.
Liv took a deep breath and forced herself to look inside. It was worse than the other tents.
Whatever had happened to her employers had obviously started in the main tent. Arterial spray
splashed across one wall, and mangled limbs were tossed around the space haphazardly. The
likelihood that someone had survived the slaughter was looking close to zero.
If it had been any warmer, she probably would have smelled the camp when she stepped
out of her shack. Even so, there were predators that would come looking. She could not stay. Liv
backed out of the tent and stumbled around the side. As she tried to take deep breaths, her eyes
wandered over the mountains around her.
Liv knew what had killed her employers. She could lie to herself and say it was a bear, but
deep down, she knew. It was the creature they had been hunting. The yeti. She slowly dropped
her gaze to the ground at her feet and was unsurprised to find a set of tracks heading away from
the ruined camp.
Without quite knowing why, she started following them. The large, red prints faded to pink
and, finally, white as they continued up the hill toward her shack. They ran parallel to her own
tracks from that morning. Instead of walking across the valley, the footprints headed further up
the mountain.
Liv paused when she could see her shack down in the valley below. She looked at the hard-
packed snow around her, and a shiver went down her spine. There were dozens of footprints as if
the yeti had been watching her from the moment her employers left her in the shack. The tracks
came from every direction, but one path seemed more heavily traveled than the others.
She should go back to the shack. That was the smart thing to do. She could wait out the rest
of the day and night and then leave for the village the next day. But what was there to keep the
creature from coming down into the valley? She was alone now. There was no one around for
miles who could help her. Liv shifted her weight from foot to foot, arguing with herself.
The supplies in her bag would last her through the day, but she needed more to make it
back to the village. Even with all the blood and carnage, it was obvious that some things were
missing from the camp. The creature must have taken it. If the monster had not killed her when
she was alone over the past two days, it likely had other plans.
Liv grabbed the straps of her knapsack and followed the most well-worn path. The prints
climbed up the mountain, twisting around large rocks before finally ending at the mouth of a
cave. Liv paused and looked back over her shoulder. Nothing noticeably moved out on the
snowy peaks.
Liv inhaled shakily and let it out slowly. The village woman said the beast was not a
danger to her. She had no choice but to trust the woman’s words. Liv crept forward. The snow
reflected light deep into the cave, but she could not see the back wall. The creature could be
inside watching her.
She hesitated and scanned the cave again. Nothing moved, and there was nothing but the
steady drip of water from somewhere deep in the shadows. Liv took another step forward, and
when she shifted slightly to the side, sunlight sliced past her to reflect off something. She
squinted and moved deeper into the cave.
Her boots scuffed along the rock floor and drowned out her breathing and the steady drip of
water. When the reflective surface was only a few feet from her, it stopped shining. Liv frowned
and looked around her. Was the cave darker? There was suddenly furnace-like heat behind her
and a soft grunt.
Eyes wide, Liv slowly turned around. Pale grey fur filled her vision. A quiet whimper fell
from her lips when a massive, clawed hand appeared in front of her face. The hand grasped her
small chin and tipped her head back. With the sunlight behind it, Liv could not make out details
about the creature’s face, even if her mind had not been numb with shock.
Knowing the yeti existed and seeing it with her own eyes were clearly two very different
things. Her heart raced in her chest, but she did not try to pull away from the beast’s grip. It was
not hurting her, and she wanted to keep it that way. The wide chest vibrated with what sounded
like a pleased purr as the monster’s other hand rose to pet her hair.
Liv forced herself to stay still when the petting graduated from her hair to her delicate neck.
The massive hand could kill her in an instant. She could not help remembering the remains at the
campsite. She had to be calm. Wasn’t that what the village woman said? Be calm and show no
fear.
Liv licked her lips nervously and squared her shoulders. She would not cower. No matter
how huge and terrifying the beast appeared. Some of her resolve faded when the creature
wrapped a giant, furry arm around her and lifted her off her feet. It clutched her close to its chest,
its free hand settling on her upper thigh just under the curve of her ass, and carried her deeper
into the cave.
Chapter Three
iv landed on the ground with a quiet grunt. Layers of blankets formed a pallet underneath
L her, warm where the stone was cold. A fire burned off to her right. It was large enough to
give the back of the cave a cozy, almost-hot temperature. More importantly, it provided light.
Liv raised her eyes when the creature knelt beside her and got her first good look at the
beast. She was unsure what she expected, but the face that looked back at her was not it. The
yeti’s body was humanoid, but the face was closer to a bear’s. An odd combination of ape and
bear with bright yellow eyes and vertical, cat-like pupils.
She was not sure how to react to the intense stare, so she looked away to scan what she
could see of the cave. Knickknacks were scattered around on every flat surface. Things from the
village. Some of them looked decades old. Mixed in with the small items were clay pots and
woven baskets. Gifts, Liv realized.
How long had the village been aware of the yeti? Her employers made it sound like it was a
new development, but from the appearance of the cave, they were off by years. The village was
probably protecting the beast. Liv jerked her head toward the creature at a soft touch to her thigh.
She watched with wide eyes as a single claw slipped through the fabric of her snowsuit like
butter.
The beast reached for her face with its other hand, brushing its surprisingly soft fur against
her cheek. Liv shivered. She wanted to say something, but she just watched as the claw ripped
the leg of her snowsuit down to the ankle, baring most of her leg to the creature’s curious stare.
One huge hand stroked up her leg to rest on her knee.
She was not sure what to make of its expression. The monster’s haunting, yellow stare rose
to her face as if to gauge her reaction. The beast’s behavior stirred her own curiosity. Was it
trying to understand her? Not completely sure what she was doing, Liv reached for the zipper to
her snowsuit.
The creature’s gaze sharpened on her as she tugged the zipper down to reveal her close-
fitting underlayer. The paw-like hand on her face trailed down her neck to the neckline of her
undershirt. Liv gasped as a claw shredded the stretchy material down to her waist. The beast
leaned forward to get a better look at her bare skin.
Hot breath huffed over her collarbones and into the valley between her breasts. It was
oddly pleasant, and Liv’s eyes closed to enjoy the sensation. Warm fur caressed her bare skin,
urging her to give in to the caresses. Her eyes snapped open at a hard jerk, and she gasped as her
breasts tumbled out of her ripped bra to be caught in the beast’s paws.
The soft fur tickled her nipples until the little pink buds stood at attention. Liv bit back a
moan. Her face flamed in embarrassment as she tried not to squirm. The creature surely had no
idea what it was doing to her. It was innocently exploring. It was wrong for her to be getting
pleasure from it.
No matter how hard she tried to control herself, heat pooled between her thighs. Every
stroke of the yeti’s hands made her body tingle. The beast leaned down to run its burning hot
tongue over one of her nipples, and Liv cried out in shocked pleasure. She had to put a stop to
the creature’s actions before things got completely out of control.
The yeti swirled its tongue around her hard nipple, and Liv arched into it. She tried to
control herself, but she could feel her panties growing damp. All at once, the beast’s tongue
disappeared from her breast. Before she had time to feel disappointed, huge hands pressed her
thighs apart, and something pressed against her pussy.
Liv raised her head to look down her body. She bit back a moan at the sight of the beast’s
face pressed between her legs as if trying to smell her through her suit. She shakily pushed
herself into a sitting position and shrugged off the top of her snowsuit. The yeti’s yellow eyes
watched her closely, but it did not move its face from between her thighs.
It was horrible, so wrong, but she wanted more. Liv lifted her hips and eased her snowsuit
down over her hips. The beast immediately seized her pants and panties in one huge hand and
pulled all three layers down her legs at once. When the monster refocused on her, Liv shivered at
the force of its stare.
It pushed her thighs apart to stare at her naked pussy. Without warning, it leaned in and
licked a scalding hot stripe between her folds to end at her swelling clit. Liv gasped and fell back
onto the blankets. She heard the beast sniff at her and growl before its tongue returned.
The hot, wet muscle lapped over her tiny entrance, dipping inside to taste her arousal. Liv
chewed on her bottom lip, trying to hold back her sounds of pleasure as the beast tormented her.
The creature’s cold nose bumped against her swollen clit as it hungrily drank down her juices.
Liv squirmed in the unbreakable grip, her hips jerking uncontrollably.
When the monster’s thick tongue finally thrust inside her, she convulsed and came with a
sharp cry. The beast’s attention did not flag. If anything, it seemed more eager to taste her. Liv
whined at the feeling of its tongue stretching her, writhing against her inner walls as her
clenching pussy tried to pull it deeper.
She had never felt anything like it. The creature licked her out with a base, animal hunger.
Her thighs trembled in its grasp, and she could only shake as wave after wave of ecstasy crashed
over her. Her pussy felt swollen and hungry, aching for more of what the beast could give her.
Chapter Four
iv moaned a denial when the creature’s tongue withdrew. Her pussy clenched around
L nothing, and Liv reached for the yeti with both hands. Its yellow gaze scanned her, and she
shivered at the way the beast licked its lips. It moved toward her on its knees, and Liv’s eyes
dropped to its lap.
She went hot and cold at the sheer size of the creature’s erection. She had slept with a few
guys and experimented with vibrators of various sizes, but the yeti’s massive cock was easily
twice the size of the largest vibrator she had ever tried.
Liv inched back in the nest of blankets. She was not sure she wanted more. Her pussy was
soaked and throbbing for it, but it seemed impossible. The creature moved closer, closing the
space between them. Liv slowly began to inch her legs closed and gasped when the beast
wrapped an arm around her waist and jerked her into its lap.
Its huge cock was pressed between them, hot and wet with its need for her. The size of it
against her took her breath away. There was no way it would fit. Liv thrashed when the yeti
slowly slid her up its body. Its fur teased her hard nipples, and she arched into it until its
cockhead was nudging her pussy.
Liv froze. It felt monstrous. Her mouth fell open in a silent scream as it slowly began to
push into her. Her eyes squeezed shut, her fingers curled into its fur to hold tight. It was unlike
anything she had ever felt, an intense fullness bordering on pain. It eased inside her inch by inch
until nothing more would fit.
The yeti’s chest vibrated with a rumbling purr. The small movement against her nipples
made her pussy clamp down, and Liv’s breath hitched. The creature nuzzled the top of her head,
huffing warm breath against her hair. The tenderness in the gesture made her sigh softly.
The beast tightened its grip on her waist and gently bounced her on its cock. If being filled
was intense, the heavy slide of the monster’s cock inside her was mind-blowing. Liv threw her
head back and moaned. She could hear how wet she was with each thrust. The slick sounds
making her gasp.
The creature moved her faster, adding a little more force. Liv whined for more. She
tightened her thighs around the yeti’s ribs, jerking her hips into the beast’s thrusts. The aching
stretch had faded into an overwhelming heat that made her whole body buzz. She could feel the
pleasure rising inside her.
The yeti ducked its head to lick and suck at her throat, growling each time she clenched
around its cock. Her nipples were raw and swollen from rubbing into the beast’s fur, but she
could not stop wanting more. It was so good. All of it combining to push her higher.
Liv jerked her hips frantically, needing more. Suddenly, the beast pulled out and dropped
her into the nest of blankets. It flipped her onto her front and jerked her hips up, thrusting back
into her hard, wrenching a scream from her. Liv clawed at the blankets, crying out in pleasure at
each hard thrust.
When her orgasm finally hit, it was so intense it brought tears to her eyes. She shook
beneath the beast, sobbing and screaming in pleasure as it pushed her through one peak and into
another. Wetness gushed from her, her pussy clenching over and over. The beast howled and
thrust deep.
The yeti’s hot cum gushed into her, filling her until she overflowed. The increased fullness
forced another orgasm from her, and she cried out helplessly. The beast continued to hump into
her, its cock twitching deep inside her with each spurt of cum. Liv collapsed into the soft
blankets, unable to do anything but moan brokenly as her pussy clenched in lingering pleasure.
The monster finally stilled, and its massive cock slid out of her twitching body. Exhaustion
tugged at Liv’s mind, her body edging toward sleep. She felt warm and sated in a way she had
never imagined. Half-formed questions were floating through her mind, but they could wait. She
fell asleep to the sound of the yeti’s pleased purrs.
